I couldn't find anyone to do a last minute Lei and house of flowers pulled through! My client loved it and it turned out beautiful

I left a review for this florist after they repeatedly reached out to me to receive a review. I finally left a review with my honest opinion. And the review was deleted. The flowers were hastily put together, where I spent over $100 for an arrangement, the cost (wholesale) of flowers used was $20. Even with a 30% markup, this was not called for and when given an opportunity to make it right, they instead hid the review. read more

A fruit basket was sent to us and it was absolutely gorgeous. Fruit was perfect and the basket was so full! There was no filller or anything, all fruit, cheese, crackers, etc. would highly recommend and I'm sure we'll use them in the future. read more

If I could leave a lower star review I would! I ask for tulips and they told me the had some that were super pretty and would be the perfect choice for my wife's first Mother's Day. I show up and the lady is too busy jabbering on the phone and stays on the phone to grab the "great" bouquet I was suppose to get. Well when she grabbed them I was super disappointed from the get go, then she took them up to the register and asked if I had been told a price. I said no and she charged me $70 for the worst bunch of flowers I had ever seen! At this point I have no time to get flowers from anywhere else, so I took them hope. The look of disappointment and disgust on my wife's face was rather upsetting. Luckily for me, she was happy that I tried my hardest on her special day. read more

House of Flowers - Terrible flowers I purchased for Mother's Day. Supposedly a great bouquet that was not worth anywhere near $70! - Florists Near Me - Dothan, Alabama

I do not normally post bad reviews about anything but this was bad. I used this florist for my wedding flowers and this is the story: I had tried to work with another florist in town and was told they could not get peonies so I contacted House of Flowers. I met with them in person and was told that they could, no problem. This is my favorite flower-always has been. When I met with them I explained that I only wanted blush peonies in the bouquet and bout and mixed in with reception flowers. I pointed out that I did not want any roses mixed in with the reception flowers because I did not like roses. There was a contract, I put down a deposit... all was well so I thought. I put the check for the final amount in the mail and then got a text that if I did not have it there by Monday (the Mon before the wedding, this was on Fri) that they could not order. I assured them it would be there. I was confused since i did not understand what the deposit was far if they would not order without full payment but I digress. My wedding was not in Dothan so I had someone pick up the flowers for us. When those charged with picking them up arrived they called me immediately and said "so there are no peonies". As it turns out they said they could not get blush peonies and had instead ordered bright pink roses! I could not believe it. what made it worse was they told them "this type of rose looks like peonies, most people don't know the difference"!!!!! I was speechless! Not only had they gotten it all wrong and never even told me but they assumed I would be to ignorant to notice!!!! PLEASE SEE PIC. Talk about adding insult to injury! I would like to be clear here: If they could not get peonies that is one thing but they were ordered on Monday. I did not find out about this problem until Friday when it was impossible to go elsewhere or even pick out an alternative for myself. They just took it upon themselves to assume that I knew nothing about flowers and would not notice that they were not the right flower or even the right color. My friends tasked to pick up had to quickly try to work with a rude staff to try and fix my wedding flowers. This was 19 days ago. As of yet I have received no refund and no apologies. I would go in there and speak to them but I feel like I would be ugly and have decided to chock it up to a loss. But PLEASE do not make this mistake. I hate that this happened; they seemed so nice and we got off to such a great start but in the end there is no way I can recommend this florist for weddings. read more

Worst florist I have ever come in contact with. Absolutely the most unprofessional experience and worst customer service encounter of my life. I am Teresa B's maid of honor and was instructed to simply pick up her flowers so I could take them to get out of town wedding. I knew there would be blush peonies and that this florist was chosen because they had promised the flowers would be available. However when my friend and I arrived, I saw bright pink roses. I knew this was incorrect and hated to tell the bride. The first older man I dealt with was very nice and apologetic. Then the second man arrived and made the statement that the bright pink roses look like the peonies and most people cannot tell. I think it's a horrible way to run your business if you assume the general public is too dumb to know which flower they specifically ordered for their wedding. Once the bride said these roses would not do, the 3 kind ladies in the back helped my friend and I choose a completely new flower scheme for my cousins wedding. Keep in mind my cousin loves flowers and knows everything about them and they are very important to her and now two of her dear friends who know very little about flowers are now picking them out for her wedding, the most important day of her life. Meanwhile the second man, the owner of the shop, is making a big show about calling every florist in the town we are going and getting the answer that they do not have peonies. I finally told him that he could stop. I realize they are not in season but that is what greenhouses are for. They were promised and you did not deliver. Furthermore you did not let the bride know immediately when you could not get them. Which the contract, that they made a point to show me, clearly stated. Once new flowers were chosen I asked for a discount. The peonies were going to cost between $9-12 a flower. There were 9 in the bouquet, 1 boutenierre (spelling?), and 3 in an arrangement. We replaced them with hydrangeas, daisies, lilies, and berries. They ONLY gave her 15% off her bouquet. Which has yet to be refunded 19 days later. I beg to differ if the flowers I just mentioned cost NEARLY what the peonies did. And FURTHERMORE if we had not noticed the wrong flowers, which they assumed we wouldn't because they assumed we are stupid, they would have let us walk out with roses disguised as peonies which I GUARANTEE you are not $12 a flower!!!! That is fraud in my book ladies and gents. I hope people read this long post. Because like I said originally this is the WORST FLORIST EVER!!!!! Oh I forgot to mention Amy. The lady Teresa dealt with mainly and who was responsible for this order. She came in late and was the rudest most unsmiling, joke of a customer sales rep and store owner I have ever met. Never once did she apologize. She also acted insulted when I asked for a discount. She is the one who ordered the flowers on Monday. She is the one who did not get peonies. She is the one who did not contact the bride immediately when a substitution was made. She is the one who chose bright pink roses even though the bride has a personal aversion to roses and specifically asked for blush flowers. In my opinion the whole fiasco is her fault. And the fact that I called her out on it pissed her off. I was not rude that day even though I wanted to be. I needed flowers for my cousin. But I'm pissed off now. NEVER. USE. THIS. FLORIST. I hope the ladies in the back can get new jobs. They were very kind and talented. read more
