The staff member working that day was friendly, obviously loved dogs, and was eager to answer any questions I had about the store or the items inside. They have plenty of furniture (mostly living room/dining room), home decor, and also "knick knacks" which I would categorize as things like stationary, cards, coffee table items, mason jar sippy cups etc. They also have a small catus/succulent/air plant station where you can purchase plants and make your own design piece ala carte. I thought that was really cute, and purchased a few plants to replaces some dying ones in my home. Overall, this store has a very urban, city, "ikea" feel, and I am totally digging it. I do think the price tags for the furniture would make some modest Omaha dwellers cringe, but those who love interior decor as I do will find this place as fascinating as a kid in a candy shop.

We were looking for a very specific padded bench that they didn't seem to have, and unfortunately, we didn't have time for them to custom make us one. We have not been disappointed, and have been very happy with this Amish furniture choice. Yesterday, we purchased two table height deck chairs in matching color and composition to the Adirondacks, to replace a couple of other chairs on the deck that were 14 years old and showing their age. We'll get the new chairs in about a month. The service at this store was excellent, the conversation with the associate that helped us was great, and the atmosphere was fantastic. If you like finding a unique piece for a wall in your home, a conversation piece for your kitchen or a repurposed chair painted with words and drawings from a nursery rhyme you need to explore Robin's Nest. My husband knows that if we are traveling south on highway 50 it will mean a stop (sometimes long, sometimes short) at the blue metal shed in Springfield. Currently decked out for the holidays, I wasn't quite ready to shop for Christmas but left with dish towels, a decorative tin tile, and some gray chalk paint for a project. I always find something unique and love checking out every nook and cranny that tastefully displays the latest market finds and the unique creations of local makers. Prior to COVID the shop offered classes in hand lettering and painting but I haven't seen any of those lately. I love exploring the back room where you can find thrifty pieces to DIY........from old maps, wooden paned windows, oars, farmhouse chairs, wire gathering baskets, metal letters, and much more. Ample parking is available on Main Street and the store is observing COVID-19 restrictions with mask wearing, social distancing and limiting capacity. The owner rang up my selections and gave a few tips for using the paint I purchased. She even showed me a finished piece using the paint color I had selected. The store was packed with displays so navigating the store areas might be a challenge for those with a walker or small children. Stopping at Robin's Nest is a regular occurrence for this Yelper. I am not sure why I haven't reviewed it before! I got distracted and forgot to take photos. I will add those on my next visit.

Ever. - They then proceeded to charge family members full price for a poster framing which was dropped off at the same time on the same day. I couldn't give them a lower rating than 1 star as per Yelp guidelines, but if I could, it would be minus 20........
