The location is excellent- located in the hub of Jackson's art's center. There are several showings throughout the week - so there seems to always be an opportunity to stop by when looking for something to do in the city. My hope is more care, attention, and investment on the city's part would go into this prime location that could become a key staple premier spot for Jackson. I should also note that the sound equipment is great. Additionally, the staff and management are nice and very helpful.

(Reconstructed dinosaur skeletons quite impressive.) Entry fee negligible; Certainly worth multiple return trips to really take in the outdoor trails, scenery, creatures. I loved the nature trails that lead through the back of the museum. They have a variety of trails of different distances and difficulty levels. The centerpiece of the park is the controversial Andrew Jackson Statue which overlooks a waterfall. It is a nice and has some exceptional landscaping and gardening. The park is named after one of the city's long-time public work directors and it dates back to late 1800's. The garden has played host to many city events including Mayor inaugurations, press conferences, cocktail dinners and former Mayor memorials. It has brick paved walkways that go right through the park's foliage. The bricks are in desperate need of a good cleaning though. They are very dirty. There are also some cement benches situated around the park for visitors to sit and relax. Even though the garden is located downtown, it still has a peacefulness about it. I enjoyed my time at the Garden. It was a nice change of pace from the hustle and bustle of the city. There is metered street parking in front on the park and along adjacent streets that are well in walking distance. You will also find some commercial parking lots in the area as well. You could bring some lunch and enjoy it in the garden. I would also recommend planning out additional stops at some of the other attractions in the area such ad City Hall and the Hinds County Veterans Memorial, or making this stop part of a larger itinerary to maximize your time and trip.

It gives you some of the old world feel of the early 80's cinema but once inside, you can order food directly to your seat via QR code on your table connected to your seat. The theatre seating had wide isles and could recline. I was a little disappointed you couldn't lift up the center arm to cuddle with your date. The sound was 7.1 ATMOS audio and the screen was clear. For the most part, every seat had a good view. Although if you had someone tall in a seat your view may be slightly obstructed if you were under 5'8" Prices for the theatre are average, not sure if they have any deals to be had. Parking was plentiful on the street or in the back of the building. Seats were mostly clean but there was some sticky spots that got on our skin.

While visiting Jackson, found this movie theater with very good reviews in Yelp so decided to go to…read morethe 4pm show. Found parking very close to the entrance. Once inside the theater, went straight to the self-check out to buy 2 tickets ($29). The process was fast and easy. Then, gave the tickets to a lady who told us where to go for our movie. Before heading to the movie, we stopped to buy a couple of glasses of wine ($21). We also stopped to get popcorn but decided not to get any because they're cooked with butter which we don't consume. The movie room was super clean and the recliner chairs were very comfy. The big screen and sound were perfect. I wish the temperature was a little cooler. Overall, this is a great movie theater. I felt safe and the lobby was clean. Staff was not friendly but was not mean either so God bless them for wanting to work.

Unfortunately, they just aren't ready for prime time. Aside from the aforementioned hour, they brought out half the food about 15-20 minutes before everyone else. The place looks nice but unfortunately they just aren't staffed properly to attempt to run a full service restaurant. They should probably stick to burgers and dogs for the golfers and that's it.
