If it wasn't for Garrett's top notch and up-to-date research, I would of missed out on the house of my dreams. The seller was less than ideal, which added extra nerves to the entire process. This isn't that kind of review. These people have several operating names... HMPM, Housing Market Realty, and Fischer Property Management, among others. They use these individual names to get around reviews. Charles Fischer and his empire of LLCs are nothing more than slumlords. They take properties from owners that can't manage them, and run them into the ground. Long wait times for responses are normal. Got a leak? They'll text you that someone will be there asap. 4 days later, water is still spewing out of a pipe in the crawlspace. Think you paid a security deposit? Joanne Narciso will say that you didn't, then retract her statement with a lower number, and then, only when provided with receipts for the deposit will say that your deposit is accurate... After 3 months of bickering... And after the fact that the deposit wasn't held per FL law in a bank account. They don't care if you have rats. They don't care if you literally have a water fountain under your house. They will find every excuse to screw you any way they can. They want that monthly commission from the landlord miles away, and nothing more. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM!! Especially, if you wish to preserve the value of your property, DO NOT LET THEM MANAGE IT!! Slumlord is a word that unfortunately is used by people that rent and disrespect the property they're renting... We aren't that. I've (with property owners approval) done about $2k work that increased the value by $20k. All stuff that needed to be done, but I did it inexpensively with little to no labor cost to them. These people are total scum.

Unfortunately, Bella Title did not contact me. I had to call the week before closing to get information from a not so knowledgeable staff member. When asked if they had insurance to cover for wire fraud she replied...."you would think so." I then spoke to the owner, who I thought had understood my request to have a more seasoned person help me with my closing. The very next day the same not so knowledgeable person contacted me. Of course, this did not give me anymore confidence in them. We painfully got through closing. Did you know they retain $200 just in case you do not pay your water bill? Well, strike 2. I sent them the receipt after paying the water bill and was met with.....we need to check with the water department before we send the check. Guess what? Five weeks later and no check. I had to call yet again. I am not into third chances. Thumbs down on this business. Move on.
