We specifically…read morerequested Ford Transit which we did receive at our initial pick up from the Houston Airport, however upon our return back to the airport we receive a vehicle of lesser quality. The Ford Transit that picked us had to be put in the shop, which is understandable as things happen and vehicles need servicing for various reasons to maintain them. We were told they did not send their Surburban because it did not have enough space to accommodate us, which is true as there were 7 passengers with a total of 8 suitcases. Our luggage was secured inside with strap, however the bags kept rolling throughout our trip from the Port of Galveston to the airport in Houston and we had to lay our rolling carry-on bags down because initially they were falling. I asked the very nice man that picked us up why did we have this vehicle, he stated he did not know. Therefore I called the office an was advised of why. I told the lady it is understandable that something happened to the Ford Transit and therefore it had to be put in the shop. It wasn't understandable as to why we weren't informed there would be a change in the quality of vehicle. I told her I believe we should be compensated by receiving something off the price we paid for good customer service. She told me she has to ask the owner who is out of the country for a few weeks. I stated there are various ways to communicate while out of the country such as email, whatsapp, etc., therefore since this happened on a Saturday I ask and expect for them to follow up with me by end of business day Wednesday of the upcoming week. Wednesday came, no one followed up. I called Friday, 3/1/24. I spoke a lady, I think her name is Katherine or Kate, and I advised her what occurred. She stated she will read the note and call me back. She called back within 10 minutes and advised that the contract states they can change vehicles if there's a maintenance issue and switch it for a vehicle with comparable capacity, which is what they did and I agree should happen, however I believe in addition to providing comparable capacity, quality of the vehicle should be comparable also, and if not take something off of the price for your customers. The lady stated the provided a comparable vehicle therefore they will not take anything off. I am not sure if I spoke with the same lady both times but both times that I spoke with a lady, the lady was a little spicy. The drivers were amazing & awesome, therefore I give them 5 stars. I give the overall experience 1, I prefer to do business with companies who do good things/betterment for their customers that goes beyond their contracts or minimal obligations to their customers, however this is not that type of company/business. Our drivers got us back and forth safely and they provided excellent service, which is the positive of this experience.

I went with 7 friends, you enter at Gate 8 off of Clinton Drive, just tell the security guard you are there for the tour. There is a nice plaza to wait at right next to the boats. The parking lot is safe; let's face it, the only folks getting in have to pass security! A bit before 10 am one of the employees came out to check everyone in and handed out bottles of cold water which was great as it was almost 90 degrees outside in full sunlight. We boarded and were asked to sit inside while they got underway. One of the shipmates gave a safety talk and then we were free to go outside. The boat moves along at a pretty good pace, every now and then it slows for tug boat traffic. You get to see the industries that are along the ship channel. There are lots of big ships and also small ones. Some are loading or unloading, others are being repaired or a clean coat of paint. The shipmates serve coffee for the adults on the way and after turning around after about 45 minutes they offer cold water and soft drinks. There are so many photo opportunities so take lots of pictures. You are asked to go inside while they secure to the dock, the air conditioning feels great. Then you are on your way. The entire crew was so nice, they were helpful and friendly and could answer questions. Please, if you plan to take children, keep them under control. While not dangerous, there are things to watch for so you don't trip and the doors for the cabin are very heavy and hard to open and shut quickly so a child could easily get hurt.
