    Terrible. The car they rented me had body damage and drove poorly. Plus it smelled awful, like smoke, other people's body odor, and a terrible air freshener. Any other time I have rented a Tesla through a competitor, it has come with the charging adapter. This car was missing it. Tried calling budget and spent twenty minutes getting bounced around from representative to representative, only to have to drive all the way back to the airport, wait in line for another half hour and have the attendant tell me that they don't include the charging adapter because people were stealing them. You'd think they could fix that issue, like hello how about just charge people for it? Plus the key was in such poor condition it looked like someone had run it over multiple times and then put it through a garbage disposal. Absolutely awful and will never rent from this location again.

    Cars weren't clean. The budget app malfunctioned and the location at the airport is difficult to get to when returning the car.

    The line to get a car is inexcusable. 3 people working and sharing with Avis. This is not worth it.

You know they are going to be there when you walk out. Living in Katy, it's hard to find an uber or Lyft in the evening or at night coming back from IAH. Recently, my wife got dropped 6 times in an hour trying to get both a Lyft and Uber. I finally drove out at 8pm to pick her up. Price - reasonable. They compare to Lyft or Uber Black. Last Lyft to/from IAH was right at $100 each way (not Black service) or $200+tip. Return ride for me, late in the evening and had to wait 30 mins to finally get picked up. Lots of frustration. With AWR, it's a bit more expensive, but door to door service and guaranteed to be there. What is peace of mind worth. Great cars. This trip, very new Mercedes electric. Nice. Way nicer than Black Service from the other two. Easy to schedule online a day out or weeks out.

The company later addressed those concerns, and I agreed to update my review and rating accordingly. I rented a Rolls-Royce Ghost for my wedding on Friday night, and the service itself went smoothly. However, by Saturday morning--still during my wedding weekend--I began receiving persistent messages from the company pressuring me to change my review immediately. I informed a representative that I intended to update it by the end of the weekend, but despite this, I was met with unprofessional and increasingly aggressive behavior. Most concerning of all, I was threatened by the driver, which made me feel extremely uncomfortable and unsafe. The situation escalated to a point where I've seriously considered contacting the authorities. Because of this experience, I cannot recommend this company. While the car was beautiful, the harassment and threatening behavior I endured afterward were completely unacceptable.

The woman who answers the phone at Island Breeze Shuttle was rude from the second she picked up. She had a attitude about everything I said. Instead of being kind she was condescending. If she is a owner god help us......I couldn't remember the exact date of my booking, and instead of helping me, she acted irritated and completely dismissive. After giving me attitude, she finally agreed to search by my email address. Then she made a comment, saying that in all her years she had "never heard such an asinine comment." Completely uncalled for. When I told her I didn't appreciate how she was speaking to me, she hung up on me. This is not how you treat customers. I own a shuttle business myself, and I would never treat my clients the way this place treated me. If this is their idea of customer service, I can only imagine how the actual service would be. Beware--you won't get the service you expect here. I tried supporting a local company, and this is what I got in return. Terrible experience. One star only because zero isn't an option.

He claimed there was traffic and every time we called to see what was taking so long, he claimed he was 5-10 min away. My husband was super frustrated and called he main office to complain. The lady in the office hung up on him. The driver admitted that they double booked and he made another pickup/drop off. When he finally did get close to our pick up spot, he told us to walk 2 blocks to meet him. We would have been far better off with Uber or Lyft, but this company makes you pay up front so we waited so as not to lose our money. Biggest waste of almost $400. Save your money and DO NOT BOOK THIS COMPANY!!!
