So I lost my keys! Called first to get quote over the phone, told Idan our situation. He offered competitive rates over the phone, I gave the address to our location, he gave us a time estimate, and also a 20 minutes heads up courtesy call. Which was very considerate! He opened the car first to let me try to find the keys, and then started making the key as discussed over the phone. He told me it would take about 30 minutes, and everything worked out. Warning! They do Shady business. He sold me a Nissan key FOB sold it as a Infiniti key FOB. He didn't cut the spare key either. Tried to slip it through. He is a complete idiot and scandalous. Long story alert: Dan with Houston Key Locksmith is literally God-sent. My lady & I were stranded at a restaurant on Hwy 6 for nearly 4hrs, locked out of our car (stolen keys). Update: The key only lasted 6 months. The plastic clips holding the battery broke and does not hold the battery anymore. Looks like the aftermarket key is not durable at all. Looks like the key is cheaply made. To spend greater than $200 on a key only work for 6 months is a bad deal. Also, my key never had a button to open the Lexus trunk. read more

Horrible service. Called to schedule an appointment for 12:30 was set for that time. Was told I was going to get a call back 30 mins prior before arrivals I called since i never received that status update call to be told he was going to come over ma hour later now. I completely understand on that part is another job takes longer but the communication is key especially for keeping your clientele completely informed on their repairs when theirs a set appointment. Well after getting a call finally saying he was 20 minutes away then a secondary call to that only to be told he was at the wrong address and then third call saying well since I'm here I'm going to knock this go out since I'm at hit address and then come to you. The disrespect and nonprofessional is immense in this business due to that the dealership will be my only go to for my business when vehicles need new keys and key fob programs.
