So inconsistent. On the way out west we stopped at this Houston's and had the best spinach feta pizza ever. We are fans of the Regina Hill Avenue location and wanted to disbelieve the Yelp reviews of this Houston's. We always ask for olive oil rather than tomato sauce, and for a well done crust. On July 7th, it was the best. Tonight, on our way back through Swift Current, we stopped here again. And it was one of the worst we have had. So disappointing. Today, service was ridiculously slow, and the Greek salad was meagre. Hardly any feta, watery iceberg lettuce with a pool of water at the bottom of the bowl. We won't take the risk next time. Great service in the bar but the fish and chips was the worst I have ever had. The breading on the fish was really thick and greasy, but the fish is still was worse... It had the flavor of a freezer burn and it was completely mushy. Maybe this was a bad batch of the premade item, but I don't think they've ever really tasted it themselves. Ordered delivery today. Forgot our shrimp appetizer, called and they were bringing it, over 1 hour still not received. Order of cutlets, side of garlic mashed potatoes. Did not get garlic mashed instead I got what tastes like powder mashed and a very small portion. The cutlets were cool on inside and not enough gravy. I have given Houston a very poor rating. Have had problems previously. Charging us high end restaurant prices and provide less than 1 star food. read more

So they offer bottled water don't have it but charged me for it . Asked for 2 dipping sauces only got one. Asked for cutlery didn't get any, didn't send any napkins. Very very poor when traveling in the road!! read more

When the food here is done right, it is delicious, but unfortunately the cooks seem to be inconsistent. Their signature dishes are always a safe bet - pasta dishes and pizza - they are well made and delicious. The pizza is loaded and the pasta is cheesy and baked to perfection. The other menu items - sides, sandwiches and the Sunday brunch are hit and miss. I used to come here every Sunday afternoon - one week you'd have a great buffet, the next would be half cooked and half the trays would be empty. The dining area is well kept and nice. Booths give a small bit of privacy. The servers are polite although often you end up waiting at the door or waiting to order, because there don't seem to be enough staff. Step up your game Houston Pizza and you'll get a few more stars. This place has everything it needs to be a great restaurant but doesn't always deliver. read more

Total sh!thole. Dumb wait staff did not inform of the "only buffet" service until we were sat down, trapping us into eating there. The buffet was terrible nothing was good but the potatoes, which are hard to screw up. The sausages tasted sour like they were rubbed with the toilets. Speaking of toilets the bathroom was revolting, puddle of piss just sitting on the ground like it owned the place. Soap dispensers were as broken as a Vegas marriage. As for a place called Houston PIZZA the only fucking pizza in the entire establishment was two slices at the end of the buffet that look like they were heated up in a microwave powered by a potato. The place is waaaaaay packed up with screaming babies, and I mean more screaming babies than a connecting flight on Delta airlines. Very disappointed -1/10 would not eat again read more

Unfortunately this place had gone down hill. I have seen them giving out raw food and unedible food.

In Nov.2018 I was mistreated very badly on line by the previous owner of this restaurant. On April 18 2019 @8pm the first time since the Nov. incident Myself and three others went into Houston's Lounge Thinking the new management would be sorry for the mistreatment . Instead the manager turned it around and said " well you were banned " trying to put the blame on me for them swearing at me, mocked at and never explaining why they had liquor going out the lounge door allegedly being sold illegally. We sat and she said " we aren't going to have any trouble are we " blaming me once again for the issues brought on themselves. My friends and I had a beer and left.-feeling quite awkward about the whole experience. They did as well send me an facebook message stating I was banned once again for asking for an apology and perhaps a drink in compensation. The continued mixed up morals of this restaurant leaves me to believe they will continue to mistreat long term customers . Worst service I have received in a long time. Waited at the door to be seated for way too long. I ordered a drink - the server asked me twice to refresh her memory on what I had ordered. I never got the drink. Food was fine but nothing to wrote home about. Would not go back. read more

Wanted to try Pizza Stop but it is closed on Monday so we went here. Don't order the pizza - very disappointed. It was luke warm and had piles of low quality meat - all of it the same. If you desire quantity over quality then this spot is for you. read more
