The middle area is 2 lanes the whole way and separated from the normal lanes by tall plastic dividers. It was a saturday afternoon so I was literally the only one on the tollway but I could see how this would be useful during rush hour. The only problem I have with tollway is the cops that hide behind the toll booths. They created these little holes for the cop cards to park in so you can't see them at all until it's too late. I don't drive to katy during rush hour so the only times I'd use this are on the weekends but on the weekends it's not that bad with the new lanes added to I-10 so I'd just save my 1 dollar and drive with the common folk.

There are restaurants, movie theaters, shopping, entertainment, venues, etc. You really don't have to leave KATY to do much of anything. Everything that you may need is here I can remember when Mason Road had no businesses from I 10 to Morton Ranch and now it's grown and businesses on both sides that been developed. At the time when I moved here Martin ranch stopped at Mason Road. It didn't go all the way through like I did now that was a great improvement. Also 99 stopped at I10 and now it goes almost around the whole city. You will enjoy your time here when you visit or if you live here.

It is a green space with a metal Light garden brought to us by sculptor Tim Glover. The project has began well over 14 years ago and is finally almost at it's completion. The space itself is a bit underwhelming considering the funding and time that has gone into this project. But I guess plans and projects like this has a lot of red tape to go through. But overall, it was just way too small, I was expecting to be WOWed, but I was like meh. The lights at night are cool, but not mind blowing. Glad we have stuff like this in Houston, but was hoping for more. Also btw the yelp maps is wrong, it is actually at the roundabout off washington right when it hits westcott, not at I-10.

This is a rather fancy part of Houston with a lot of fancy people and expensive places to live. In this regard it's really nice, but a little bougie for my tastes, and it's where Barbie sometimes comes for various restaurants that she likes, including Sweet Tomatoes. It's close to where we watch Liverpool play, and to Spring Branch where we eat a lot (especially at Tostada Regia and Yori Yori/KFT inside 99 Ranch). It's a really nice upper-middle class area, but the cops do heavy profiling here and are some of the worst in and around the City of Houston in this regard, also pulling lots of people over, especially if you don't "look like" you belong, so we're talking any car that isn't expensive/new, and any driver that doesn't "look like they live here" which means "look wealthy" and you can draw your own conclusions from that. I can say from personal experience that the local prosecutor is extraordinarily and notoriously hard to deal with, so try not to drive through here, especially if you are any kind of a minority, or even have a foreign name like I used to. Other than that, it's a nice neighbourhood.
