It is a green space with a metal Light garden brought to us by sculptor Tim Glover. The project has began well over 14 years ago and is finally almost at it's completion. The space itself is a bit underwhelming considering the funding and time that has gone into this project. But I guess plans and projects like this has a lot of red tape to go through. But overall, it was just way too small, I was expecting to be WOWed, but I was like meh. The lights at night are cool, but not mind blowing. Glad we have stuff like this in Houston, but was hoping for more. Also btw the yelp maps is wrong, it is actually at the roundabout off washington right when it hits westcott, not at I-10.

They won't give you the notice of appraised value with ifile numbers unless you ask for the manager. They also will question if you are the owner of the property. I doubt anyone would want to go in to talk with these people for fun. Last year, our experience protesting our appraised value was ok. They make it difficult on purpose so you don't save on taxes, just expect to spend a few hours waiting before your hearing. We saved almost 4k on our taxes last year by going through their hassle.

Hundreds of thousands of Mexican free‑tailed bats come streaming out from under the bridge as dusk hits -- it's mesmerizing watching them swirl up over the bayou and head out to hunt insects.
