During the delay time, they never reached me actively. Each time I called for checking the progress, they just kept saying the repair would be done the next week, and obviously not. They just didn't care!! No doubt the worst repair service I've ever had. (updated) After I went to the shop and complained, they found a way to fix my MacBook, did a detail system check and didn't charge me anything. I came to pick it up and they didnt charge me for the analysis. there is a young guy there which was extremely sympathetic and helpful. After 2 weeks I came with my new laptop i bought and asked them if they can add my old computer data into my new computer. the guy took out my old computer hard disk, gave me a special cable and told me take it home and do it quietly by yourself. again, they didnt charge me. I went home and during the weekend i transferred my old computer data into my new. i brought them the cable after a week and they were happy for me everything went well. Also realized I should have just went to them in the first place because i ended up breaking the new screen I tried to replace and ended up handing it over to them to fix it for me, with 1 year warranty included! Always enjoy my visits and the lovely bowl of haribo snacks ;)

Being in Berlin for a few days was pleasant enough, but the experience here on our last say here…read moretopped it off. I has dropped my cell this morning and shattered my screen. So we set off to find a repair place. Noticing on google this place had 120 plus reviews with a rating of 4.8 stars, it was a no brainer to come here. We popped in and even though I didn't have it repaired because the cost outweighed the cost of cell...(I 'll wait till I'm home and get a new replacement) the owner was able to least offer a temporary fix so that the tempered glass remain intact till I get home. It was quick and only cost me 5 euros. I was happy with the fix. As I waited for my uber, he even offered me a coffee. Unfortunately, I had to decline as my uber arrived. But just the hospitality of this individual amongst others at the establishment made my last day here in Berlin a memorable one.

A couple of shops (including betterworxs which by the way I found very unfriendly) quoted me 170 Euros to change the trackpad and they would keep my mac for a week. These guys opened the mac straight away, cleaned the trackpad and my mac is now working perfectly. I gave them 10 Euros for their time and their honesty. I would strongly recommend them. Since living in Germany, I have not had a printer (also for probably the first time in my life)…read more Considering I am no longer writing epic university papers, this is no problem. But now and again I do need to print things. My natural inclination is to love Copy Time because it is open super late and on weekends, and located not too far from my place. But there are some low points. For example, the computers never have my font and when opening Word documents, they always mess up the formatting. That said, I have to always remember to convert things to PDF format so they print off the way I want them to. The prices are also kind of annoying: 50 cents for the first page and 10 cents for every page thereafter. And I get that, but I think if you are printing out a lot of pages, they should only be 10 cents, and the first page 50 if you are only printing one page. But that's just me, and I am silly, and ultimately, it's not super expensive. I have seen both more expensive and cheaper printing places in the city, so beggars can't be choosers. Also, there are a lot of other basic services here, many of which I will probably never have to use. But there is faxing, and copying, and more. And even though you have to ask to find out where the heck your papers are printing to, I like the work space area in front to organize and staple things and such. All in all, pros and cons. Overall though, when I need it, Copy Time gets the job done.
