Produce sections has really gone south so to speak. Avocados have fingernail gouges, the lettuce is brown, there is barely walking area, don't get me started on the meat section or that they decided to move everything around- which is fine, change it to try to keep shoppers in longer.. but OPEN ALL THE SELF CHECK OUT STANDS OKAY!!!!!!!! ALso, this whole new section for cosmetics and stuff- when I need to buy anything in that section, I also have to pay for it before I can continue on my way to other parts of the store!! and hold on to that precious receipt. Look I get it costs are high everywhere, but this is getting ridiculous and the inventory is lacking and when they are restocking- why are the pallets in the walkways? the aisles, everywhere, its like massive u-turns every where I am heading, I cannot be the only one feeling this way. Also that Sparks delivery check out- that should not be, I have been is this store often enough and not seen any "Sparks".

After being given trouble every single time I tried to fill a prescription at the major chain pharmacy, I was referred to Future Pharmacy in Howell, NJ. This pharmacy is just like the old-time places I grew up with. They know your name and greet you pleasantly every time you go in. They ask how you are, and always have your medications ready when promised. As important as the personal service is, it wouldn't mean anything if they didn't know what they were doing. This team is professional, knowledgeable and very familiar with dealing with insurance. Insurance companies are now in the business of practicing medicine and are always looking for ways to give clients trouble. The staff at Future, particularly Lilly, handle the insurance company so well, and that alone is a great reason to do business with Future Pharmacy. So, friendly, knowledgeable staff, nice store, and they don't take any garbage from insurance companies. That formula works for me, and I'm sure it'll work for you as well. Go check them out.

I looked in store, and there was no OTC option available at all. I took a look online, and Walgreens does not even offer that product. I am not sure why my script was refused to be filled for an OTC that they do not carry. Why the pharmacist did not just ask if I would like it filled regardless is beyond me, and it's a sign of disregard for my medical needs. Any time your doctor sends a script, and they tell you it should be ready by the time you get there, you still have to wait a minimum of twenty minutes. Sometimes you're told to wait while they help others behind you. If you call ahead, that does not change anything. If you are a day late, you have to wait for a refill. Honestly, pharmacists get paid way too much to treat their patients poorly, and I think no one should use this pharmacy in its current state. I have used this pharmacy for years and service has only gotten worse.

That does absolutely nothing to improve wait/pick up time. Because there is always a line- but explain exactly how this self check-in, is any faster or more efficient?????... - Staff punching in your information, and you are standing at the counter- old way -You punching in your information, and standing at the counter-new way ...and the line behind you grows- and no one else can punch in information, until the check out at the counter-is complete, because your information is readable and it tells you to wait. Sigh. It should be: You punch in your information, then once accepted- it clears out the screen (your information has been accepted and no one else can see it) and the next person in line can do the same. Because have provided necessary info, the system is cleared, and you just wait to be called. Info in, cleared, wait, called, pick up, pay, go. Repeat. But no. There is still a long line, you have to wait for the person who punched in their information, now waiting at the counter to receive their scripts. It makes no sense and is an added step of nonsense, since the staff still needs to walk up, look at your script, walk around to the bins, collect said scripts and then come ring it up. Pharmacy staff is still great and always helpful, so absolutely no complaints at all-- but CVS really needs to rethink this computer check in process- You listening CVS??

My youngest requires compounded medications due to their extensive medical needs. Lenny and everyone there always gets it right and always reaches out to the doctors and insurance if they need any additional information. Lenny's also helped the rest of our family to track down very important prescription medications that no other pharmacies could obtain, not the big box pharmacy chains and not even the few small independent family pharmacies close to our home. They always go above and beyond to help. There was one time a few years back when Epi-pens were impossible to locate anywhere. Lenny happened to have some in the pharmacy and set 2 aside for my son and I as he knows what severe allergies we both have. We hadn't contacted him looking for them but he knew from our records that was something we definitely both needed. I was very impressed at how far they went out of their way for my youngest and I. Consideration and kindness like this is not something a big box pharmacy is going to provide. I've also found a number of hard to find non-pharmacy items there, like unscented deodorant, unscented soaps and other similar products, dye free OTC medicines and different DME products. The prices on those items were excellent. We live out by Fair Haven but I'd drive anywhere for service like this. I can't recommend them enough!

Finally, a man got on the phone, said they work with Medicare, and the wheelchair would only cost me "$4-5 dollars"⁉ He didn't have any wheelchairs, but he could get one by tomorrow. He suddenly seemed rushed, trying to get me off the phone. I asked more questions...weight limit, width in inches, if it comes with pushrims, foot rests, leg rests? He had to look it up, and only addressed the foot rest question. Then he concluded the phone call. WTF?
