Requested an estimate for bringing my condo up to current code. They showed up when we scheduled…read moreit. They looked at the issue, told me the think they would have to make specific changes, but the tech said he would have to speak with his boss. I appreciated that; however, I received no call back as to if they could make the changes and each time I called, it was "someone will call you back". Then I was invoiced for the repair that was estimated and never performed. After I called, was told they would look into it and delete the invoice. The next month I was invoiced again (2nd time) for work that was not done. I called again, they finally took care of it, but I still needed the work done. I requested an answer to my original question and now since it had been past 30 days, they would have to do another estimate. I live in Atlanta, so it is not as if I can just run down there. I scheduled another appointment, that did not happen. Was called the next day and said the code did not work. I asked why wasn't I contacted when the tech was at the unit? The office lady (who was very polite by the way) did not have an answer. I cancelled all further actions and will look for another electrician I can trust.

MDC was recommended and even though they were closed (it was now Saturday), said they'd have someone out at 8 a.m. Monday so I could get new appliance in. There were two workers at my door at 7:55 a.m. Monday and by 10:30 entire rat's nest situation was resolved, wiring was put in correctly through a box - and it turned out the old stove was working! They were professional but just as important is they listened to me and my situation - boxed appliances sitting in living room - and worked a solution around all that at a fair price.
