Lets get the bad parts out of the way first First of all the food is over priced and not worth it. There are hardly any workers on duty or doing anything ( sometimes ). A couple of times i have gone here the drinks are flat and has no taste. And to top it alll off there Theaters are always never clean and there ia always food on the floor Time for the good things ( there are only two things) There is an arcade right next to the theater And there are the X large theaters I give hoyts northlands 2 out of 5 stars Main reasons are the place is not clean and the food is somewhat bad But at the same time it has an arcade for the kids and young teens so it seems alright read more

One of my local cinemas so it is easy to get to. I prefer coming here over Greensborough mainly because they have an extreme screen. I do agree with the comments that the cost of a movie is becoming ridiculous $21 for adults, $18 for concessions and $16 for kids tack on a $1.20 online booking fee plus a possible $3 for the extreme screen... the prices are getting pretty steep, however what keeps me coming back is discounted tickets through programs like Optus perks who offer $11 adult tickets and $8.50 kids tickets with no online booking fee! Apart from the cost, the cinema are generally tidy and the staff attentive and friendly. read more

Smallest screen I've ever seen in any cinema, EVER! Seats are super small, short, squashed and hard (feels just like Metlink bus seats). Got a sore back and bum now after watching the movie "Legend" which was 2.5 hours long of uncomfortable sitting in Northlands cinemas. I will not be going to that branch again!!! read more

What a crap cinema. $20 a ticketand the screens are smaller than your tv at home! Even the "extreme screen" (which is $3.50 extra) isn't that big! read more

My family and I often go to see movies here, as it's the closest cinema to our house. The facilities tend to be clean and comfortable, including the toilets. The staff tend to be friendly and pprompt. We've never had any difficulties. Recommended. read more

Quick service, clean cinemas and a good selection at the candy bar. No complaints here.
