Dolly for getting tree from the field to the tractor pick-up spot.
    Beth S.

We have literally traipsed all over for a great cut your own tree experience since having children. That means over 20years of looking. At the recommendation of a colleague, we went on the Friday after Thanksgiving for the best experience yet! Don't be turned off by the long lines because this farm moves people efficiently from lot to field! Tractors were running non-stop! There was just enough time to grab a complimentary hand saw and kneeling pad. We waited in line for less than 10 minutes to get to the field despite 30 people being in front of us in line. I'm picky with my trees and prefer Frazier Firs. Hozak's had the largest selection of Frazier firs I've seen in the field. They shape their trees so nicely that there was not an ugly tree out there! Tree Dollie's were provided to get the tree from where we cut it back to the tractor pick-up location. They shook and bailed the tree. We were in and out in an hour even though there were over 100 people there at the same time we were. Just a heads up, they provide the twine but you are responsible for tying your tree to your car! Happy Holidays

I've been here nearly every year for the fall festival but this was my first time cutting down my own tree. They had a wonderful selection with average prices. They will shake and bale it for you as well, which is fun to watch and included in the cost of your tree. My only complaint was the lack of direction. No one really knew where we were supposed to go or where to get supplies. We had to get tidbits from each worker before we figured it out which was rough as it was cold and we basically just had to keep walking back and forth. But in the end, I got a gorgeous tree at a reasonable price and getting to choose it ourselves was romantic and fun. We look forward to doing it every year from here on out!

Such a cute farm! I thoroughly enjoyed the different activities. There was a hayride, pumpkin patch, and horse rides. They also have a little shop which was a perfect end to my day. I recommend this for a nice autumn day trip with friends and family.

A wonderful family owned farm - Primarily Christmas - but they also have a wonderful Fall Festival every year with free wagon rides to a pumpkin patch, feeding of farm animals, a maze, and a haunted hayride. They also have a outdoor snack shack, live music, and static displays for photo opportunities... They have a shop that is FILLED with gifts, unique treasures, antiques, and Christmas displays and ornaments. They have cut your own trees, trees in the lot, and an indoor snack area with fresh baked goodies.. It is a wonderful treasure that is not to be missed...

The hayride is a nice touch, and there were a ton of really nice looking trees to choose from.

Boy will you be wrong- the place extends well out into the back! We didn't go into the nursery area but the plants were gorgeous. Go into the market store area- it is huge! There's a bakery, a deli, a little lunch spot, groceries, candies, home goods etc. I want to highlight the little wine section with the kindest lady working there. She gave us a tour of the entire place - that's how we found out the place was much more than meets the eye! We sampled several different wines, and purchased several! One of the wines sold there supports a rescue group with every sale. We bought some jams (birthday gifts), honey and hot sauces from the store. Traverse out back, there's the original barn that is a gift shop (3 stories), lots of unique items, a farm petting barn of animals rescued from slaughterhouses, a separate store for those with allergies that they can shop specific allergen friendly food. An ice cream stand, a hard cider ale house and some play areas for the children. We stopped in the arsenal ale house to have a drink and that was delicious too! We were hungry after and were looking for place to eat then we remembered there was a little lunch spot in the store so back in we went! Perfect tied over lunch, great sandwiches, pickles have got to be homemade. Drinks from cooler- super refreshing. Definitely will be back.

Not sure why there aren't many more reviews for this farm! My family and I went for their fall…read moreevent that includes a hayride, corn maze, pumpkin picking from the vine and a play area for kids. Entry was $5 and kids 2 and under are free. The entry fee gets you access to everything mentioned. There were 3 food trucks in front, and also their main building consists of fresh picked vegetables (a big assortment of peppers ranging from mild to hot) and other handmade local goods. Prices are very reasonable as well. If you don't want to pick your own pumpkin, there are also ones that you can just choose and purchase in front of their main building, along with cornstalks. Let me tell you, this hayride is by far the best I've been on. From the cleanliness of the farm and the hayride, to the organization and friendliness of the employees. They close at 5pm on Saturdays, and advertise that their last hayride is at 4pm, but they went until almost closing due to there still being people who wanted to ride. There were 2 tractors that took patrons to and from the pumpkin area. The ride to the area was about 5 or so minutes, and coming back was about 10 minutes. While riding, you get views of the whole farm, a view of a pond and also ride through their orchards. The tractors and seating area were clean and in good shape. The pumpkin patch had a lot to choose from and different shapes, sizes and colors. Many were still on the vine. The price for the pumpkins is $0.42 per pound. I got one huge pumpkin, and 4 small ones for $12. Not bad at all! This farm has yearly events, and I can't wait to return. Definitely recommended!

We are new to the area and when house hunting last fall, we spotted the hay bale minions. My husband is a huge minion fan so he made our poor realtor go back to take pictures! We didn't realize at the time that the hale bale sculptures are an annual event at the farm. We've been back to get fresh produce and went to the open house a couple weeks ago and took a hayride tour of the farm. Looking forward to fall produce and seeing what this year's hay bales are!

They also have two concession stands! Our family spent four hours and never even made it to the corn maze. The staff is overly accommodating and friendly. I am really surprised by the previous yelp's I read. This is a small family owned business and they were all running around keeping things clean and in order. I really think people need to be careful right now more than ever leaving a bad review because you may be in a mood yourself. If your heading to an outdoor event I would not expect all people to be walking around outside in a mask. If your that afraid you just may want to stay home an order a pumpkin on line. Don't leave a poor review on a local business working hard to stay up and running. This farm has been in Hartville for a long time. That's why it gets packed so quickly. Loyal customers that enjoy a great service they provide to our community. If your looking for a fun day out I highly recommend stopping here.

I wasn't shopping for anything in particular but I wanted to see the new location. I picked up a basket and kept adding items. How could I pass up a nice size head of cauliflower? Or nice big radishes? Oh look I needed celery. As a cooking novice, I went with the "regular" mushrooms but I saw other types that I may need to come back for. The refrigerators had local dairy products, meat, and pierogies. I had to get the spinach and ricotta pierogies (made in McKees Rocks). I can't say no to a snickerdoodle cookie and there were pumpkin snickerdoodles too. Lots of homemade breads, pies, cinnamon rolls, etc. It is the attention to detail that stood out to me. The radishes were in a resealable (ziploc like) bag. The mushrooms were in a clam shell container. I didn't have to find storage containers which I appreciate.
