Great gym for the price. Lots of space and plenty of machines and equipment so it's rare that you ever have to wait for something. It's very clean and they offer free classes in addition to your membership as well as workout suggestions if you're unsure of what to do. Parking lot can get a little full, especially with the after work crowd but it truly is a 24/7 gym despite what Yelp says their hours are. read more

They have want you need and is an 24 hr place. Does not have that gym sweat smell. The cleaner is there most times that I have seen and the place is not jam packed for it's size. I like it. read more

My husband and I just moved to the area recently, and we were looking for a gym closer & easier to access - HT Fitness in Taylor won us over! It has a wide variety of equipment and weights, a lot more than what we could find at other similar gyms. Our favorite machines are the hack squat, hip thrust, and t-bar! The treadmills are also super nice and have fans and screens built in, which makes our cardio a lot more bearable lol. Currently, we have a wacky schedule, which means we can't always go at set times, just whenever we can... so that means sometimes it's 6 AM, sometimes it's 11 PM. That 24/7 availability for members comes in really handy for us! I've noticed that even during busy times, we don't feel crowded or cramped, and the staff has been wonderfully helpful, attentive, and friendly. Loving it so far, and we're excited to see what all they have planned for the future! read more

THIEVES! I called them in August to suspend my membership because I was having gallbladder surgery. Called them a few weeks later to tell them that I had complications and to extend the suspension. Then in October I asked them to cancel it. It was being charged on my son's debit card so I was unaware it was still being charged till March. I called and no answer so I pm'd them on messenger. He stated that they wouldn't do anything till they opened again after COVID. Now today he gave me nothing but major attitude. I'm not asking for full refund but damn, do something! read more

HT Fitness is a great place to get your gym on! Not only is it very clean, it offers so many equipments to use. The time that my husband has gone there it has been nothing but great! Weights, treadmill, bikes, they have a yoga room for all types of classes. Khari is the best he welcomed us when we visited over a month ago and my husband is a member. Khari, has been very nice to explain the gym and what is great about it it's 24/7 go anytime. Being retired it's great. Poorest customer service. They sent me an email about gym violation. Mind you I haven't been in a week. My daughter who is a member used her brothers key so instead of calling me and finding out what happened they debited my accoubt. The I get an email 10 days after they debited my membership to tell me of an increase in price. When i stated I wanted to cancel they said I had to do it in writing and it would be 30 day processing period. This company is money hungry and I will never be a member there again. I've been coming to HT Fitness for several months, and today I have to say the staff went above and beyond with their customer service. I dropped my glasses into a stair master machine, where they fell into a big black stairmaster pit. I thought for sure I would never see (no pun intended) them again, but upon going to the front desk, 3 staff members immediately dropped what they were doing to lift the machine (and this is no small feat), turn it upside down, and risk injury to get my glasses out of the stairmaster. I have been a member of several big box gyms in the past, and I am fairly confident I would never receive this level of customer service at most other gyms. They also have a large selection of aerobic machines to choose from and free weights/weight machines that are always in good working order. read more

I'll be honest, I've been here *once*, so take what you will from that. I was visiting family in Taylor and it was raining so I couldn't do my usual run outside, so I decided to give HT Fitness a try. I used to have a YMCA membership in this town when that was open, and I totally loved it there. Based on my one experience at HT Fitness, they are running a much-needed, very capable and organized facility. The pros: Despite what other reviewers may say, this gym has more than enough equipment for you to do a well-rounded routine. I found everything I needed to do my normal workout, including several different types of leg presses, bench presses, a massive number of dumbells, ellipticals, treadmills, lat pull downs, TV's, and stuff I don't even know what to call. I had a membership at 24 Hour Fitness when I lived in Dallas, and I found every type of equipment I used there at HT Fitness. The staff was very polite and courteous and helped me find what I needed. Though I didn't attend classes so I can't review their quality, I saw many people attending a Zumba class of some kind in a room next door. They seemed to be having a great time! I hear that this gym does boot camps, too. The place is clearly very popular, as there were many people working out when I went around 7pm. It's also in the center of town, so it's really easy to drive to. My favorite thing, though, is if you are a member you get 24 access to the facility. The cons: It is small. There is very little room if you want to do exercises on the floor. It was pretty crowded when I went, though I never had to wait in line for anything. Also, staff are only on hand until 8pm during the week and 1pm on Saturday, but, like I said before, if you are a member you can go in at any time of any day. I really hope this gym expands soon and gets a larger facility, because that really is the only limiting factor I could find in this gym. If I lived in Taylor I would definitely get a membership just for their fit camps and 24 hour gym access. It's hard to find a gym that is reliable in how often they offer camps like that and offer those kinds of hours. TL;DR: HT Finess has every piece of equipment and staff on hand that you need to get a good workout. It is pretty small, but that doesn't prevent you from being able to get what you need done. This place is a dump! the gym is super small ok. The staff is somewhat friendly. I thought it would be nice to have a gym to workout while in Taylor. However, this place is a complete joke! The equipment is dirty and the locker rooms are the bare minimum. I spend a great deal of time traveling and when I decided to cancel my membership I was told I had to come in to do so. 3 months later due to there hours or lack of finally got it cancelled. Spend the extra 10 bucks and drive to Hutto or Round Rock and go to a real gym. read more

I switched over to HT Fitness from the local YMCA years ago and never looked back. HT fitness is much more affordable, friendly, accessible (24 hour access!), and cleaner than most gyms I have been to. They have enough equipment and space to allow for a quick and efficient workout - I never have to stand around and wait for a machine/bench press to open up, even when they are busy. A previous reviewer complained about the space, but HT is large enough for dozens of people to work out at one time without overlap. They have more than enough cardio equipment and doubles/triples of most of the weight equipment. The staff really makes this gym, though. Having the front desk person greet you by name and ask about your workout is a great thing. You just don't get that at the corporate gyms. They are always ready to give workout or dietary advice (without trying to sell you anything), you just have to ask. HT Fitness isn't one of those gyms that caters to just muscle-heads, either. I've seen people of every shape and size working out there. There is an easy feel to the gym. It is not intimidating at all. I have trained with 3 different trainers on different occasions (Jerry, Jason, and April), and they have all been very knowledgeable and focused on my goals. Very affordable, too. While working out I have watched the trainers help people at all different stages of fitness, and it is obvious that they care about their clients. The group classes at HT are great, too. My wife and I attended April's Fit Camp a couple of years ago (we're starting back now!) to get in shape for our wedding. When we started we both weighed more than we ever had. After a couple of months we slimmed down and came very close to our high school weights...and better yet we were the best looking people at our wedding. This gym is super small. But the staff is friendly and they do the best they can with what they have. It's nice to have a gym in Taylor. However, it's too small for me and is extremely limited as far as equipment goes. If they ever expand their gym to make it comparable to a typical one ill be back, but until then I am choosing to commute to 24 in Pville for a measly 12 extra dollars a month. I can't stand when I have to figure out how to accomplish what I came for because there is simply not enough equipment and most of the time there is a group of dudes using something I need to use as well. The locker rooms are the bare minimum which is doable but it creeps me out that it feels like the daycare is inside the locker room because there is no ceiling, just walls put up that make it seem like they just took a huge chunk of the ladies locker room and decided to section it off and call it a daycare. So yes, the size of the gym may be appropriate for a small town but I feel like a lot of Taylor's residents may be commuting as well simply because its all we have and it's subpar. I hope that as Taylor expands, HT does too. read more
