The Salvation Army down the street has better prices. They've also gotten really bad about rejecting stuff. We tried to donate a solid wood desk and they wouldn't take it. I also tried to donate a working LCD TV and it was also rejected.

If I wanted to pay $5 for one pair of fancy socks I'd go to DSW and get the brand and not the cheap knockoff. Their paper backs are $3 where most other stores are $1-$2. However, it is a very clean and well organized Goodwill. Not much selection in dresses, but a whole rack of blazers and a whole rack of scrubs.

He thought that it may take 1 to 2 weeks if he had to order parts for it. 2 days later he called and said it was ready to be picked up! It didn't need any parts. He said a couple of loose solder joints and cleaned the switches. What an honest business! This guy loves to talk vintage audio and he has become my go to guy for all of my electronics.

Free little park on the edge of Franklin towards Miamisburg. It's beside the river and bike path…read more Had small playground equipment and picnic shelter and small pond. Stopped by after snow storm to take some pics. It was very lovely. I went alone then got a bit scared when a man showed up. Occurred to me how isolated and vulnerable. Luckily the man was not dangerous but a woman alone needs to be careful. Even in a cute park bad things can happen. Be careful my friends.
