Went on a zip line/tequila package excursion on Thursday with my sister. We're visiting Mazatlan form CA. It was a wonderful adventure!! The guides are so professional, friendly, and experienced (Liz, Dany, the photographer, and the driver). Thanks for a great experience. We even bought our pictures and a bottle of tequila. Thanks for a great time !!

This was my first time zip lining. I was a little nervous at first, but when I saw the quality of the safety equipment I was relieved. The guides Ro Ro and Felipe were a ton of fun. Be sure to pay attention when they are teaching you how to slow down! Several people had issues because they were not following directions. You just use your right hand and push down on the line-- don't grip the line unless you want to dislocate your shoulder. Also, you can steer using your left hand on the carabiner. Just don't freak out, it's pretty safe and there is always a guide that can answer your questions. I would do this excursion again.

Great company to work with I was terrified to do this and after my first run I almost gave up. Claudia and Mike were awesome. Assured me I was ok and even did runs with me. Love how they cared. Edgar then took us on an ATV adventure which was unforgettable. These group of instructors are the best. They feed you give you unlimited about of water and entertain you the whole time. The tequila tasting was superb. Thank you Mike, Claudia and Edgar. Great memories. Thanks for the pictures Edgar we love them. The CA girls read more

Jan 1 arrival by cruise ship to huana coa with 80 other passengers. Disappointed by the overall experience, there were only 6 guides for a very large group so the tour that was to last a few hours was several more hours. Between each zip line there was 20 to 30 min wait, on a hot day. I am not sure if guides did not show up or if this is how they run it. We had to wait as guides were not at each post, it was very long and disorganized. Expect poor service, long waits and little to no communication of the day events or safety or overall discussion around the lengths of the zip lines. I have been on over a dozen zip lines but this one was probably the least safe and oldest. The platforms were falling a part, the stairs were broken, overall I would not recommend it. For the amount of money this was very disappointing experience and would never go again. This was expressed by all the people from the cruise. They need more guides or don't take more than you can handle. It needs upkeep. What to expect: 1. 45 min drive to the canopy 2. Bathrooms have no soap. 3. The grounds are dirty. 4. There are stairs to the top. 5. Walk 0.5 m in sun after last ZipLine. Need to know Spanish which is fine. read more

So much fun! The only negative was there is food at the end that two ppl with a dairy and gluten allergy can't eat. Otherwise the staff were great. They explained everything super well and made the trip a fun one. The tequila option at the end was also interesting to go through. Got to see how tequila was made and try some. I recommend the vanilla one. Sooooo good. read more

Absolutely amazing experience! The staff was extremely friendly, especially Edgar and Ramon. It is very safe and exciting. Our family did the atvs as well which was so much fun and very scenic. My family and I definitely recommend doing the zip lining and atv together. We will be back! read more

My mom (61) and I (34) spent the day at Huana Coa Canopy and had an amazing time. My mom has been ziplining before, but this was my first time. I was nervous, but from the time we were picked up from our resort by Jesus (driver) and Roberto (copilot/ entertainer), they made us feel welcome, engaging us in fun conversation the whole trip. Upon arriving, we met the rest of the craw and we're fitted into our harnesses, after a mandatory baño stop. Then we got into a few old army jeep type vehicles that carried us for a bumpy ride up a mountain. There was a bit of a steep hike, then we had a water stop and instructions. Felipe seemed to be in charge and gave a great initial safety instruction that had everyone laughing, while ensuring we all knew precisely what to do in order to stay safe and feel comfortable on the lines. We were introduced to the rest of the crew Yara, Ulysses, Lysette, and Dany (the crew paparazzi) who were extremely kind, personable, and funny while making sure we all had the time of our lives. The first line was a little scary, but after that I felt very comfortable and the crew kept assuring me that I was doing great, like a pro. Some reviews said there was not enough water, but there were water coolers at several stops, at least 4 or 5. I was sad when the course came to an end too quickly after only 9 ziplines. I was ready to spend the whole day there! I got one more fright at the last stop, a big tree that we were to "rappel" down, though it was more of a free fall controlled by Felipe on the ground. He kept everyone laughing the whole time with his commentary. We had a short walk back to where we started (and where we locked our belongings) for a light, yummy lunch of quesadillas and salsa. Then a short ride over to tour the tequilla factory, a few shots of tequilla and we were headed home. Another trip that seemed too short because of great conversation with Roberto. I brought a book for the ride that I thought would be a long 45 minites, but I never cracked it open. The crew earned a big tip from us because they were wonderful, kept us laughing and having the time of our lives with them. Bring cash (for tips!) and also if you want to buy a CD of pictures $30 US, or a bottle of tequilla from the factory. You can keep it safely locked in a locker while you are ziplining. I would highly recommend ziplining here at Hana Coa Canopy to anyone visiting Mazatlan, you will be so glad you did! read more

Really fun adventure and great staff. Only downside was that their 'lunch' was a small quesadilla.

Huana Coa zip lining was great. We did this through our excursions on our Holland America cruise. We enjoyed it. The staff was absolutely amazing. We made it there on April 17th. After the zip lining we had homemade quesadilla's which were extremely good! Everyone was extremely friendly too. After that we hit a Tequila factory. We got to taste samples and hear the history of the Agave plant too. We wound up buying some to take home too. Overall this was really a great excursion for our family! read more

While on vacation in Mazatlan, we decided to go zip lining and came across this company. We booked the tour through our resort. Since it was low season, we had a private tour with two guides. Cater especially was very knowledgable and personable. The guides made sure that we were properly prepared and went over all safety measures with us. They have 11 lines that vary in length and speed. We had a blast! The tour also includes a stop at their tequila distillery on property. The whole property is covered in agave fields and the guides walks you through the distillery and provides a brief insight into the process and history. read more
