He called me 2 days later and tells me that FOR SURE the truck needed head gaskets. Although no white smoke. Head scratcher there. Took it over to Gellings for a second opinion, and they told me the headers and gaskets look GREAT, the trucks already had ARP studs and Sinister diesel gaskets. Turns out the Radiator is going Bad. Iam Having them put in a brand new Mishomoto radiator & Sinister diesel coolant filter kit. Matterns just has a shiny new shop to pay for. Be careful over there.

We use and extended warranty company for repairs on all our vehicles and haven't had any issues in the past. This time we brought the vehicle in the problem was diagnosed, the shop manager then called me stating the warranty company would not cover the repair. So I called the warranty company myself and they had no record of a call. The warranty company did end up covering the repair. after paying the bill in full mike then said " I have better things to do than deal with warranty companies" and asked me not to come back. In conclusion if you have an extended warranty on your vehicle you may be asked not to return to this shop due to no fault of your own.
