We found this place while doing a search. We had gone here several times, staff were always friendly. Our dog came back fine no issues. Within the past month we had an unexpected illness that meant we had to go to Cleveland for a couple days. Called last minute not knowing how long we would need to use their services. Very accommodating, our dog stayed 3 days. Came home no problem, and again we needed their services. We were unsure of how long we would be, they worked with us extending our dogs stay. They sent pictures and our dog was having fun. We kept in contact and let them know the situation. Our dog was going to run out of food because I only packed a week of food, I was under a lot of stress and they suggested that I could have Amazon deliver her food so I wouldn't have to leave to bring her food. I am so grateful for their quick thinking, and the way that they just kept working with us, not knowing our schedule. They showed compassion and understanding that I didn't expect. I was worried about my loved one in the hospital and it was a huge relief knowing I didn't have to worry about my dog. I knew that the people working there genuinely love animals and they saw what a sweetheart my dog was and allowed for her high energy and wore her out. She enjoyed herself, but more importantly we felt good with our choice. She went back after we got home and didn't even look back as she walked to the dog area. I would highly recommend the Hubbard Pet Resort. They really like dogs and it shows. read more

We have been boarding our four greyhounds for years here when we had to get away. They are the most caring staff you will ever meet! They go out of their way to get ahold of you if there's a problem. I also get my dog groomed and she always smells and looks fantastic! Recently my daughter had a trip planned and left their two dogs there for week and a half. You couldn't ask for a better staff. I boarded both my dogs there June 3-7. They both started experiencing symptoms of KENNEL COUGH within a week. I've taken my dogs to be groomed and boarded there before and thought maybe their shot records were NOT checked simply because I was a repeat customer. But obviously it's standard practice to not check. Because this is the ONLY place my dogs have been in the last 3 months. Hopefully my elderly dogs survive. The owner couldn't even take the time to call and check on them after I reported it to her staff. I will never go back. And I will scream from the roof tops for every dog owner I know to not take their dog near this place! read more

We took 2 of my dogs for a de-shedding, which they DO NOT de-shed dogs. They were, however very nice. But they do not know how to de-shed a dog. They do not blow out the coat when drying them to help get rid of the hair. They use a simple drier and just try to dry the dog. Which the dogs were not even dry!! OVER PRICED! We gave them 2 chances to see if they could de-shed a dog. They seem to not even care that we were not happy with the service that they tried to provide. We told them we would not be back, again they seem to not care. . DO NOT USE THEM FOR de-shedding purposes!!!!!!! read more

We started taking our dogs here a few years ago. We had tried a few other places and didn't feel that the facility and/or care was up to our standards. Our dogs are always in excellent condition when we pick them up. They are clean, happy and have been taken care of the way we expect. If you are looking for the cheapest place to board your pets, this probably isn't for you. Their prices aren't the lowest because the facility and care they provide is not structured to be the cheapest. read more

Picked up our fur baby after leaving her here for 2 nights to be cared for while in town for a family wedding. She came out of the kennel sheepishly, not at all her happy wagging self. Her bottom and tail were caked in feces that had hardened. We were led to the restroom to clean her in the sink with no success. I asked to use their grooming room so I could cut the hardened hair and then bring her back to the restroom to clean her enough to bring her home. Fortunately we had clean blankets to wrap her in. It took some time for her to return to signs of her normal self. I dont know what happened other than not having her basic needs met. The nice young girl at the front desk told us that she herself had watched her but obviously not very closely. If you dont like animals, small or otherwise, you should not be caring for them. I have been keeping this review as a draft for over a year. I only looked at it today because it showed up in my drafts and frankly I am as upset as I was the day it happened. You should be ashamed of yourselves but I'm sure this is not the first or last time you allowed it so it is unlikely you will change. Lesson learned. read more
