So location was one of my reasons for choosing this business. A couple of things that really impressed me was communication. The receptionist was polite and made me feel welcome. The dental assistant was polite and professional through out the process. She and Dr. Craig communicated every step of what was going to be done. Which calmed my presence. I thought I was going to need a root canal and a crown. Dr. Craig reassured me that a filling would suffice. I am truely pleased with the outcome and will be returning for future services.

Keep in mind, I have dental insurance and all the procedures should've been covered. I called the manager Elizabeth after receiving the first bill. She said that she would resubmit the claim to my insurance. I then received another bill for the full amount 30 days later. I called Elizabeth again, this time she told me I had to call the insurance company and figure out why my claim hasn't processed and paid. She said that it's not her job to figure out what my policy covers. I asked her what the EOB stated regarding no payment. She LIED and said that they don't receive EOB's(a doc which explains why a claim paid or didn't). This is medical billing 101. Health insurance companies always notify the provider with an Explanation of Benefit. I called my insurance and confirmed my procedures are covered. The rep also confirmed that they always notify the provider on how a claim processed and paid and whether any lines denied. Even more, the rep confirmed that Merit dental submitted ONLY ONE procedure code instead of all four. I will not be returning because of the horrible/unprofessional interaction with the manager.
