I knew that they may be booked for the summer, as they have a reputation for being trustworthy and popular. However, instead of simply telling me that they don't have the bandwidth or that they wouldn't be able to help, I was told (in detail) about all of the AMAZING auctions they have coming up and how what I wanted to sell probably wasn't worth their time because it wouldn't measure up. No empathy, no recommendation for other options... just a condescending attitude and wasting my time to brag about their current clients. So if you'd like to work with them, come prepared with some names to drop and five figure price tags, or be prepared to be insulted and disappointed.

I'd been renting it since Feb. 2020 on what was originally a six-month lease that renewed every 30 days after that. I was never late on rent and got along well with my neighbors. Anyway, rather than promptly fix the problem, they refused to fix it until after my lease expired, leaving me homeless. I guarantee if this problem had been in THEIR home it would already be fixed. And the reason they did this, according to Kip, is so they can rent my home on Air BnB. Don't support these greedy, self centered, just plain awful people. They see people and the inalienable right to secure housing as nothing but capital, loose change in their pockets.

They gave us information about each one of the items we were interested in and assisted us getting to know the lay of the land. One of the things I really appreciate about this auction is it's so close to Burlington and downtown Church Street. We had a great dinner then after the preview and went back to the auction. You always feel better when you win the mid and when we did we got great assistance breaking down a bed and I had it in the truck in about 20 minutes while the auction was still going. The whole process was easy and enjoyable. The free lunch while they gave the auction wasn't added. Plus pretty good pizza. A little soda coffee in the morning. Just enough to keep you going. The auctioneers kept it at a good cadence about one item a minute and you were never bored. An auction really is about the things you buy and we got what we wanted.. but it's also about the people. Friendly and knowledgeable helpful. All in all a very easy process.
