First timer here at Hudson Grey Salon and I'm genuinely impressed! From the moment you walk in you're greeted with a hello and a smile. The salon really brings a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. I randomly stumbled across Miranda's instagram profile one day which lead me to book an appointment with her! Right off the bat I loved her vibe! Miranda really took the time to make my vision come to life. She was thorough and patient. I have naturally curly hair and this winter was a bit rough. She educated me on what would be beneficial to put into my hair routine to help it stay healthy. I got a full highlight and cut. Since I wanted to go blonde she told me she would spray my hair with a protectant before foiling and shy away from my baby hairs and new growth in order to protect them. Miranda had full open transparency. Always let know the process which in turn made me feel comfortable. I couldn't be more pleased with my hair as it has brought me so much happiness and to be honest my confidence back. I did ask Miranda what her favorite part of her job was while I was sitting in her chair. She replied with "All of it! But most of all making people feel good about themselves." Upon first arriving at Hudson Grey, you are greeted by warm, friendly, welcoming faces. They make you feel so comfortable and listen intently when you are telling them what you're looking to do with your hair which I am extremely appreciative of. It is exceptionally difficult to find such talented hair stylists who truly consider what you're looking for and try to recreate it exactly. The salon exposed me to a product line named AMIKA which works perfectly and smells absolutely incredible as well! I purchased their leave-in conditioner, texture spray, and purple shampoo to keep my hair looking fresh even months after it's been done! Alyson is the hair stylist who attended to me and she did such an incredible job that I am still in absolute awe with how stunning it looks! She listened to what I wanted and recreated the exact look that I was dreaming of, a nice, cool blonde for the upcoming summer months. Hudson Grey is now my forever salon. I was in a pinch before a trip to get some balayage and a cut and these girls were so accommodating. I had only seen their instagram so I knew I was taking a chance with the few reviews they had but boy was I glad I went with my gut. I was taken care of by Jamie who just makes you feel great from the start! She understood exactly what I wanted and paid close attention to detail. The salon she's created is not only a beauty oasis, it's aesthetically appealing in every nook and corner you look. I know that my color will last me for quite some time but I already can't wait to go back! Heaven is apparently in Warwick, NY. A warm and welcoming salon, it is as aesthetically pleasing as it is fun to visit. The consult is given with genuine care. You are offered beverages and snacks. When you are at the bowl for gloss or other treatment, they offer you a lovely scrub and massage of your hands (!!! It is amazingggg). They even clean your rings for you!! I haven't had this great of service since... *counts experiences in salons from West Coast to Easy Coast* a long long time lol! Other salons have made me felt out of place (gossipy, cold, etc.) or they are too far to travel to on a 8-5 work schedule. I love this place so much, they own me now. WOW! WOW! WOW! I absolutely loved my first experience here. The place is Gorgeous, Modern & has an awesome vibe. Sam does my hair & is ALWAYS amazing. i get the blonde balayage look & he always gets my color perfect. He has been doing my hair for a few years now & iv ALWAYS been extremely happy. i definitely recommend him to anyone looking for any type of color/style. oh & hes an awesome person so it makes your experience that much better. One thing that really stuck out to me about this salon was the people working there. Everyone was so warm & friendly. Its nice to have that these days. I had a great experience at Hudson Grey, the salon is so clean and chic. I booked a hair cut with Alyson, and was unsure what I wanted, as my hair is long and VERY thick, but I wanted to go shorter for summer, while keeping it manageable so it wouldn't get "poofy". After asking me a few questions about my washing and styling routine, Alyson explained exactly what she though would work best for me. When she blew out my hair she recommended some products that I could use when I didn't have time to to blow dry myself. Hudson Grey is my favorite place in Warwick. It has a NYC feel to it which brings a little culture into our sleepy town. I've been to a couple of the stylists there and every time I've left, I have loved my hair so much. It is so relaxing that I literally felt like I was at a spa. Every time you come in, you get a hand scrub and massage, wi h makes me feel so pampered and refreshed. Best of all, the staff is so kind and accommodating. Bonus: Emma also is amazing with facials and waxing! I highly recommend giving them a try. There's nothing else like this anywhere outside New York City. read more

I'm obsessed with this hair salon! The service is incredible and the team is so friendly. I've been on the hunt for salon who not only cuts my hair but teaches me how to care for it allowing it to grow long and stay healthy. Turns out I've been washing my hair incorrectly my whole life! I tried this salon when they first opened for a cut and color and I have been coming back every since! The level of service is amazing (I received a complimentary hand scrub last visit), the staff is super friendly and welcoming and the salon itself is beautiful. My stylist, Jamie, is excellent and I have to say I have seriously stubborn grey hair and am very picky about my color. Would hesitate to recommend this salon. read more

I LOVE LOVE how Jamie colored my hair! I'm Asian and I have naturally thick, straight, almost black hair. I had given up on trying to lighten it. I've gone to several high-end stylists all over the country, but I've always ended up with brassy, orange hair.
