I got gel removed off of my feet and they charge me $10 for that... On top of that when I said I didn't want the work on her pedicure was truly horrendous. I don't even wanna post a picture of my feet because I don't want evidence of my feet looking like this. Tbh i could've done this myself wayyyyy better job from home. I made an appointment the same day. My father died and I didn't have time to get my nails done before traveling from CA. First things first. The shop is very clean. They do powder, which is my favorite. They did a great job taking care of my cuticles and shaping my nails. They didn't try to upsell me into something else. The nice thing about powder is it doesn't need any lights. My nails look great! The ladies are lovely and I recommend you try the salon. read more

My experience here was not good at all. At first I thought it would be good because even though I didnt have an appointment, they let me be a walk in and took me right away. I was wrong. They were still open for another hour and a half but the lady who took me was clearly in some kind of rush or racing someone to finish first because I have never in my entire life seen someone do my pedicure in like 15-18 mins. I soaked in the water for a whole 3 minutes. She didnt push back my cuticles, she literally just sat the tool on my nail in the motion but didnt push my cuticle at all, She ran through all the steps way too fast and when I said something to her, she shrugged it off and laughed. She literally put a dot of clear top coat on it and the color isnt even covering my entire toe, it is missing corners and is an extremely sloppy job. I will NEVER go here again or refer anyone. I have never in my life not tipped someone for their work but today was the first day. I refused to reward her poor effort to make the client look good. read more

Went with a friend yesterday and had a gel manicure and pedicure. Pedicure was much needed as I'm 5 months pregnant and can no longer reach my feet. One thing they do that we've never seen elsewhere is use hot paraffin wax to soften the skin on your hands and feet. I loved how my manicure and pedicure came out and how friendly the staff. They charged me $50 for my services and my friend $25 just for pedicure. Pretty reasonable! We will probably be back soon. read more

I've been going to this salon for over 2 years, recently my technician left and so another technician Kim did my nails, Kim was very rough and I asked her to take it easy, she continued to be a little rough for my taste and I spoke to her again to take it easy. She responded by talking to her coworker and laughing in their language, which was not English This made me uncomfortable and I felt she was being rude and disrespectful. As a result I did not tip her. When I called to make my next appointment the owner TJ suggested that I not come back because I did not tip her worker. Tips are based on the level of service, it's not guaranteed that a tip should be forth coming if you don't like the service. So be warned even if you don't like the service you are still expected to tip the technician. I'm the customer, does that mean your workers can be rude to your customers and still expect to get a tip? read more

Had a beautiful gel manicure done. The tech was extremely gentle and attentive to detail. This is also evident throughout the salon since the establishment is spotless. The only reason I didn't give a 5-star rating is due to some mild bleeding around a couple of cuticles (which I understand is sometimes bound to happen). I went to this salon religiously for over a year. Pros: it's clean, comfortable, and they won't keep you waiting. My mani/pedis always lasted 2-3 weeks. I have really dry skin on my hands and feet but they were well taken care of. Cons: Edith was the only one I trusted to do my nails. She was consistent, reliable, and great at her job! She must have left abruptly because I came in for a regularly scheduled appointment and she was no longer there. The woman who did my nails was not as thorough and I didn't really get my money's worth. I decided to try this place out based on what I saw from a few of my family members who go there religiously and they spoke very highly of this place. My first experience was just a pedicure which was very lavish and they did not make me feel rushed and took their time, it came out great! However when I went back to get a manicure the woman who did my nails was not thorough at all. You could tell she was not attentive to detail as the gel polish that she did was visibly caked on and it dried like that. You could see all of the layers and lines she applied from a good distance too. So I called them and told them I was not happy with it and they were very nice about it. The same woman just filed of the layers and applied a top coat without reapplying the polish. Needless to say about 4 days after my manicure my polish started to chip. I was told that you have to either go to the owner, whose name is T.J. or Jenn. Apparently they do a very good job. read more

I've been going to Envy on/off for over the last year. Today i went for gel mani/pedi. I asked the lady doing my pedicure to please scrub my heel because it still felt pretty rough. Her reply was, "you should've told me earlier,I'll do it next time." I repeated,"can you please scrub my heel." She said "I'll do it next time" She took some sugar scrub and rubbed it on my heels. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. It gets better...I went to pay for my "service" I hand her my card. She says, "do you have cash for my tip?" I replied, "How do you know, your getting a tip?" She says, something in a foriegn language and the other ladies laugh out loud. I took my card, and left. The owner comes peaking out the door. I called her over and explained what just happened and showed her my heel. She replied, " Did you ask for a callus remover? I said,no. I asked her to scrub my heel. She said you should've got a callus remover. I told her she didn't even want to scrub my foot for a regular pedicure, why would I pay extra for a callus remover? Essentially, I paid $35 for her to paint my nails. This was my go to place only because it is close to home. Apparently, closer isn't better! read more

It's not the ones you have to put your whole had only your nails. Also Kim did a lovely job on my gel fill; she paid extra attention to my cuticles and I love the extra oil they put to moisturize your hands. I had a great experience here. I am staying in the area for a month and needed a gel manicure. I am very picky, but the staff was welcoming and everything was very clean. Halfway through my manicure I liked the work so much that I decided to add on a gel pedi. I have a severely sprained ankle with a tear and needed the process to be gentle yet good, as getting a pedicure is not easy for me. I made an appt for a full set. When I go in, I showed the owner pictures of what I'm looking for and ask her if she's comfortable with that. I ask her if she thinks it can be done. (Nothing crazy..I will try to upload the pic to show you). She doesn't really answer but starts the work. She glues on the tips and then proceeds to cut them down. WITH SCISSORS!!! I've never seen that but I stayed there regardless. She left the tips pretty long so I requested a little shorter, like in the pic I showed her. She protested but obliged and then after, proceeds to take a scissor and cut them in a really pointy "v" shape. They were really really pointy and uneven. I waited to see what she would do with the other hand and it was getting worse. I then asked her to stop a second because I wasn't happy with the shape she was making. She said, "I'm not even finished". I said, " I know but if you do and I don't like it, then what happens? Isnt it better I tell you know that I'm not really liking this?" She became really offended and then took the scissors and cut all the nails short to tip of my finger while telling me that I didn't like anything since I first walked in and sat down. I left (obviously) but had to write this review. I went there on a recommendation from a friend and expected more especially for their prices. Edith seems to be the only one who gets good reviews on here but she was busy. If you have an establishment which serves the customer, then the customer has the right to speak up. After all, I'm paying and I'm tipping. read more
