The staff were pleasant and friendly. The price for the extraction was affordable. Even though we had this procedure done some years ago, I would still recommend Dr Brown for any oral extractions.

They are an "in network" provider…read morewith my insurance, but they do not honor the negotiated rates for services that aren't covered. While Virginia law allows this, it's a very poor (and shady) business practice. Insurance says we owe one amount, and Dr. Brown's office says we owe $350 over that amount. To have 1 tooth pulled, with insurance, it cost us over $800 out of pocket. Update: After some research, I found out that my plan is self-funded by my employer and falls under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974, which falls under US Dept of Labor laws, and is exempt from state laws regarding insurance.....long story short, they are over billing. I tried to resolve this with the office multiple times myself and with a conference with them and insurance. They refuse to correct the bill. At the suggestion of my insurance company, a grievance has been filed.
