For the negative reviewers, I am not family to Tom, not one of his Facebook friends, etc. Nor have I been offered a gift card. I was introduced to him by another contractor whom I've known for a number of years and trust his judgement. We had to take on a roof project when we had a slow leak destroy a corner of our laundry room. When I took apart the ceiling it was obvious that this had been going on for a while. We'd had this fixed previously though the water had found a way to come back and had gotten much more serious. This occurred about March timeframe so it was problematic getting someone to come out. Tom came out with Alex and did a thorough check of the roof, found the area in question, and provided options. The part of the roof with problems wasn't quite a flat roof but wasn't pitched enough to always shed water. We wanted something we would never have to worry about again, plus while we were fixing this one side we figured on just doing the whole thing and making it right. Tom gave us a few different options. We did also contact a couple other roofing companies to get competing quotes. We decided to go with Tom because we felt the price was fair for the value - not cheap, or cheapest but well explained as to what was going to be done. We also had a solar installation to remove, and Tom knew of a firm that could do this (which ended up being the same people the solar company recommended). It took almost 6 weeks to get the requisite approvals from the town thanks to the 'Rona, but once that was done, we made our down payment and then maybe only another 2 weeks to get everything ordered and on-site. The crew ended up having to strip the roof down which was an unexpected add-on but not egregious. (This actually helped to ensure that we were able to get the water damaged area completely taken care of later.) The crew brought a big dump trailer and tarped off all of my gardens around the house. Considering what came off the house (two layers of shingles, tarpaper, drip edges, flashing, nails, etc.) they did a pretty good job keeping stuff from getting everywhere. There were a couple of spots where it wasn't perfect but they took care of it. The team that did the roof was extremely polite and professional. They came to the house early, worked their butts off all day, and stayed late. They definitely understood the technical aspects of the roof system and ensured that the components were applied in the right order, using the correct methods. It was easy to see they took pride in what they were doing. The results were outstanding. First and foremost, no more leaks (there was a false alarm on this but more about that in a bit). Second, the job they did was professional and looks great. The small details were well taken care of. Third, I had no issues getting a hold of Tom, Alex, or the team working on the house. I always knew what was going on. This extended to after the job was done. About 6 weeks after this finished, it had rained heavily and I discovered some water damage to a bathroom ceiling. Naturally, I thought something was wrong with the roof. So I texted Tom and asked him about it. He said he would be right on it. Alex called me in 5 minutes and set up a time to come take a look. Long story short, it wasn't the roof but the way the original plumber did the vent. Fixing the roof just exposed the problem with the way the vent was installed. I would recommend Tom and TH for roofs without reservation.

We did two projects, one an interior repair, second an exterior project…read more First one went well so we figure, no brainer who we'd use. You can't let this contractor do his own thing. You need to watch his workers so they dont cut corners that are expensive later to fix. You need to get the agreement in writing, otherwise promised work will be forgotten and you will have no recourse a year later when the cut corners finally reveal themselves. No matter how much they come with a sob story, stick to half on deposit and not another cent until the project is complete and a punch list is done. This is a business transaction and his employees financial woes are not your problem. I should have trusted my gut when the siding guy was working alone and using nails, now Im having someone come by to quote how much its going to cost to tear down everything and redo it. Appears they have the skill to do great small interior projects, but cant manage employees to do anything larger. But the one big thing, get a written contract or plan on paying someone else to fix problems later.

The boss there. phoned me right after that and tried bullying me into spending $24.000 for a new roof with them! When we had a severe rainstorm about 2 weeks ago, I got a fresh brown spot on my ceiling in an area very close to the original spots. I called them asking for them to come put a barrier over the area until the contractor I'm using comes in early August. The new contractor is charging $10.000, the right price because I checked elsewhere. The man in charge at Lyndsey at first denied that I paid him $1500, which I had been asked for to pay cash, and said I'd paid him $200 for the work done. He is no longer denying it because I found supporting cancelled bank proof. And he is refusing to cover my roof. I rate this company very, very poorly.

He laid out a plan of attack to repair / replace our foundation along with new footings, drainage inside and out and two new pumps. He was in constant communication with us. Martin Cruz and his crew came in and stabilized our house until the official work started. Once the building permit was in place, Marin Cruz and his crew went to work. They did a great job of leveling out house, putting in new footings, drainage, and two new sump pumps. Outside they grated out the yard, new top soil, grass seed, and covered with straw. Martin Cruz answered every question we had. We couldn't ask for better!

Some of them pretty good but most of them kind of sketchy and regretful. However, these guys added a three-season room onto my home and built a deck around my in-ground pool.
