I paid a substantial amount upfront expecting professional guidance and actual services to be provided, but that is not what happened. I was told that I was approved and that the process could move forward. After payment was made and time had passed, I was later told that I did not qualify because of my income. If that was the case, I believe that should have been determined before accepting such a large payment and moving forward with the process. What is especially frustrating is that the services I paid for were never actually completed. No bankruptcy was filed, no creditor letters were sent, and I did not receive the benefit of the service I was led to believe I was paying for. Despite that, I was offered only a small portion of my payment back. I find that completely unreasonable. I understand that some time may have been spent reviewing my information, but keeping the vast majority of someone's money when the service itself was never provided is not something I consider fair. I tried to resolve this directly and professionally, but I am extremely unhappy with how the situation has been handled. I would strongly recommend that anyone considering using this company carefully review the fee agreement, qualification requirements, and refund policy before handing over a large upfront payment.
