Girls with phones at a place with lots of different room geared toward taking selfies? They were in heaven. It was so much fun to observe the creativity that Selfie Station brought out in the kids. It wasn't just posing and taking a bunch of pictures. They also worked up a few skits and recorded videos. I can definitely say that this place is not just for kids. I found that I was caught up in the moment. Being able to take selfies with in some cool rooms was awesome. They also have camera stands by each room so you can set your phone up, compose the shot, and set your timer and the perfect picture appears. My wedding coordinator gave me this horible news on a Sunday, 6 days before my wedding. By the way, it was not an ordinary Sunday, but mothers day Sunday. In a panic (and in tears) I called and emailed Beyond Elegance and several other companies for assistance, pleading my situation, hoping that someone to help me. Diana B. from Beyond Elegance is the only company that responded via email THAT DAY, even if they were closed for mothers day, and was willing to provide me with what I needed, rush order, in time for my wedding. The customer service offered and professionalism was above and beyond what any bride could ever expect. I highly recommend this company and suggest you give them more lead time than I did for even better service.

I reminded myself exactly how much I love it and how I've missed out! I want to make an effort to come more next year. We almost missed out because even though we called 3 weeks in advance the reservations were full. Luckily we were able to get through on a cancellation yesterday. We started out with the Honeysquash soup and the lamb meatballs, which are still my favorite. The soup was a bit thinner than I expected but still tasted great. Our main course came and I finally got to try their short ribs! (If you only knew the saga we went through in 2018 to try and fail to get to taste their short ribs you would understand.) They were every bit as yummy as I imagined. They came with a side of their crispy potato cake - which was more like scalloped potatoes but I loved them. It also came with roasted parsnips and radishes. I haven't had parsnips in years but trust me when I say I'll have to try to get them more now. They were roasted with I believe just a little oil, salt and pepper so the vegetables shown through. Exactly how I like them! The eggnog ice cream was tasty but the ginger molasses cookies were the star! The service was friendly, especially considering that my dinning partner was left alone for the first 20 minutes due to a ride/work snafu on my part.
