I had been recommended to this practice as I was told they had a different approach. In order to be seen I had to give up all my visits with my current (walk in) doctor in order to be seen and then I had to wait a few weeks for an appt. All fine, but then I had an injury the week of my appt so I figured I could deal until then as I would have had to self pay to see my previous doctor. I was re-injured the day before my scheduled visit only to have the visit cancelled due to office illness. Fine, it happens. I went to the ER because the pain was unbearable. I was hoping I would be fit in asap the following Monday or Tuesday as the appointment had been cancelled by the office not me. That certainly had been my experience any other office I have been involved with. I was very surprised to find out I could only bee seen 10 days later. This was after I had informed them that I had an active injury and had just been seen by the ER that night. I would think a delay of 10 days could cause potential further injury, they did not seem concerned in the least. I would just give it a thought if you are not in a position to have such delays in care. I am hoping this is just because I was a new patient and that established patients would be handled differently.
