I wish I had've read these reviews before I fell for the TRAP. This internet service is nothing but a bunch of crap. We've had it for only a week and since day one it hasn't worked properly. Called customer service was told it would take up to 24 hours to work. Well again it's been a week and NOTHING. Call back to customer service was told a representative will call me back still waiting. It's funny because when the bill is due their gonna want someone to pay for this bs. Easily the worst company I have ever dealt with. Lets begin with the lies I was told. *20 gigs a month. It was really 10 gigs and 10 more between the hours of 2am and 6am. *You can cancel the contract after 13 months at no additional charge. I cancelled after 13 months because my phone bill skyrocketed to $500 because my wifi sucked and seldom worked and when it did i had 2/1 download/upload speed. They are trying to charge my for another 11 months. *Once you return modem and radio receiver the account will be a zero balance. Still trying to charge me 11 months of service. Customer service is terrible. Managers hang up on you. Biggest SCAM I have ever seen. DO NOT EVER consider these FRAUDS for anything. Directv should be ashamed for doing business with them. worst experience of my life. These people are incompetent. First, I have pictures to prove what the technician did, leaving cables unsecured and huge mess, did not even bother to clean after himself. Then, I called to cancel, somehow the rep increased my download speed without consulting with me. Then, the second rep said he will take care of the difference, duhh since I didn't make any changes. DO NOT, USE THIS INTERNET COMPANY, WARNING!!!! We got Hughsnet in Oct. 2014, and our Internet worked WHENEVER IT WANTED TO WORK. Several calls placed to resolve this matter, NEVER fixed, as matter of fact my son had a 450.00 cell phone bill while WI if was on, but it was not working. Called to cancel service on Feb 4, on Feb 15 got charged a full month. They are foreigners who do not understand english, and that DO NOT know what their doing. Scam!!! Slowest internet ever. Got the service in early 2017 in Cartersville, VA. Download and upload speeds were nowhere near what they said they would be. Service was so slow I couldn't even run the app they said to run to test the service. My mobile hotspot is significantly faster!!!. When I complained they offered to upgrade the service.
