I had my second baby w him and regret not seeing him w the last. He stayed all night in the hospital w me. I had an car accident while pregnant and he called the hospital and had the er waiting for me and sent his assistants all night to check on me. To be completely honest, I was nervous about having reconstructive breast surgery done in a smaller town. I kept thinking maybe I should go to Austin or Dallas because surely I'd find a better surgeon there. I could not have been more wrong. From the very first phone call, I knew this office was different. When I called, I explained to the receptionist that I knew one of my implants had been ruptured for quite some time. Instead of making me wait weeks for an appointment, she made sure I got in to see Dr. Lee the very next week. That meant so much to me and set the tone for everything that followed. Every single person I met was kind, caring, and made me feel like I truly mattered. From the front office and scheduling staff to the nurses and surgical team, everyone treated me with such compassion. I never felt like I was just another patient. Then came surgery... What was supposed to be a breast reduction and implant replacement turned into a much more complicated reconstructive surgery. Dr. Lee discovered that one implant had ruptured, and the other had significant internal scar tissue and adhesions that required a tremendous amount of meticulous reconstructive work. Knowing now what he found during surgery makes me appreciate his skill even more. The final result is absolutely beautiful. For the first time in over twelve years, I finally feel like me again. What also impressed me was how up-to-date Dr. Lee is. He isn't a doctor who simply does things the way they've always been done. He stays current with the latest advancements to help his patients heal, including therapies like healing peptides, which no other doctor had ever discussed with me before. It was reassuring to know I was receiving care from someone who is always learning and looking for better ways to care for his patients. And the care didn't stop after surgery. I've honestly never experienced anything like it. If I had a question, someone was there. If I had a concern, they answered it. There was even a time I reached out around 2:00 in the morning, expecting to leave a message until morning... and someone actually responded. Who does that anymore? Dr. Lee's team does. They made me feel safe. They made me feel cared for. They made me feel like I wasn't going through this alone. I've had other cosmetic procedures over the years, and I can honestly say this has been, by far, the best medical experience I've ever had. I even had to manage my own medication schedule by setting an alarm and then ringing the nurse. This actually led to a missed dose of my medication at one point, something I've never experienced at any other hospital. Worst of all, pain management and education after my C-section was awful. I was left in severe pain for over 8 hours and treated like I was a drug addict. It wasn't until my body was literally shaking from pain that the nurses were suddenly allowed to give me something more than ibuprofen and Tylenol. I couldn't wait to leave. I won't be coming back, and I hope the Valley gets more compassionate healthcare providers.
