He decided to do a surgical flap. When I went for a follow up to my doctor he said it's a very large surgical flap with edema. After the surgery his bed side manners were HORRIBLE!! I had a follow up 2 days after the surgery and when he touched it he was so rough!! So then they made me an appt the following week but I didn't go because I was in severe pain. So I went to my 2 week follow up and they took off the stiches I told the doctor I am still in a lot of pain so he gave me motrin that's laughable what is that gonna help with!!! So I came out of there in a lot of pain again I told the medical assistant I was in a lot of pain so she told the doctor and he didn't care!! So my most recent appt I explained to him that I had been in the emergency room this past weekend because the wound is bleeding all the time and pieces of meat from my back are coming out when I take a shower. It felt like he ignored me which I think he did! I also told him that I have been taking pictures of my wound since the first week out of surgery and my incesion looks way worse!! As I was explaining to him what I feel in MY BODY! Also that I contracted MRSA because the wound won't heal. He didn't even order antibiotics or say let's put you in the hospital and give you IV antibiotics around the clock!! No he just kept saying it's healing. I think me and him have two different views on what healing is? He got very upset when I told him that the wound is deep 6cm. He said is you put a Q tip you can reach your spine? But I got a second opinion because I know my body and I know what I feel and they agreed with me that it is not healing and there are other things that need to be done to start the healing process. Dr. Moncada just kept saying that he has been a plastic surgeon for over 30 years!!! I know he got his education in Mexico then did his hours or whatever you call it here I looked it up on the Texas medical board. He has horrible bedside manners!!!! He is an arogant man and he is the type of man that thinks only he is right!!! Even if you are the pt and you know what you feel in your body he will tell you no no your fine and you as the pt know something is wrong!!! I would not recommend Dr. ARMANDO MONCADA to anyone not even my worst enemy!!!!! I would not even give him a 1 star but this thing is making me leave a star!!
