Along came a cappuccino which too was fantastic - creamy and just the right amount of froth on top. No one left food on their plates (7 of us). Everyone was happy. The staff were attentive with waters and a few special needs, always smiling and happy to help. I liked the vibe here! There are also a few slot machines, I mean pokeys here, which is fun if company ever gets dull. Knowing Aussies that never happens. The pub meals are also quite good. I had the meat pies with the mashed potatoes. The meat pie was great but I wish it came with some gravy. Same for the mash potatoes. They did not have much seasoning but we're better when I put some butter and pepper on it. When I was here on a Friday night the place was packed and was actually really hot in there, once I'd opened a window it was better. There was also a retirement party that night and they had a couple of bag pipes and a snare drum for the occasion. The sound of it was fantastic to hear.
