Dr. Colton found out and gave my new crowns on my two-front teeth. I love to visit Dr. Colton because I know he really cares about the health of my mouth. I have had fillings fall out, they have had to re do their own poor work, we did several rounds of Invisalign lingers which ruined my natural bite reduced my lower mouth space and has caused me to constantly repetitively bite my tongue which has caused me a lot of pain in the three years sense we did the Invisalign. I HAVE NEVER HAD LESS CONFIDENCE IN MY SMILE. In my last 4 visits combine the "Doctors" have spent a total of less than 15 minutes conversing with me about my concerns and even when I raised my concerns I was told he didn't have time to spend on me because he had to get back to a procedure that was scheduled during MY APPOINTMENT SLOT. They have also ruined my husbands mouth. They have cut in to his gums so many times and HAVE CAUSED SO MUCH INFECTION AND PAIN and destroyed his gum lines to the point he now requires reconstructive gum surgery, he has also had to have fillings redone because the sub par filling materials they use at this facility are defective, and The last straw was on my last visit they made me wait in the waiting room for 25 minutes after my appointment time because again Main "Doctor" had scheduled a procedure DURING "surgery" MY APPOINT SLOT. NONE OF THEM IN THE ENTIRE OFFICE VALUE NORE RESPECT THEIR CLIENTS TIME NORE DO THEY CARE ABOUT THE WELLNESS OR THEIR PATIENTS. Ever since starting my Invisalign journey they've always made me feel welcomed each time I walk in. From the front desk to the back with the clinical staff is more than just business to them...they know you'll be coming in every six weeks so they take the time to get to know you and build a relationship. Even though I wasn't always the perfect patient (not wearing my Invisalign as many hours as I should or losing them ALL the time) Dr Vronktikis never made me feel shameful. He always had a great attitude and adjusted treatment to make the outcome better. I was so happy with my treatment that I even started taking my daughter Scarlett to his office. We scheduled here because they are right by our house, and they accept our new insurance plan (Cottonwood location) We booked an appt. a couple weeks out for our daughter who is an adult with autism, and confirmed via text message & phone reminders 3x. (That part you guys have dialed in). When I scheduled, I specifically mentioned that to the person taking the appt. & and let her know me or my husband would be coming to the appt. with her. Appointment day comes, my husband goes to the appt. & the offices are closed, we thought maybe they were just closed for lunch, nope, it turns out they scheduled us at their Redwood location. When I called to inquire about it, I got someone named Nancy, and oh gosh; this woman has the MOST crusty demeanor, attitude, and absolutely would not acknowledge they maybe made a mistake, zero accountability & zero effs given to provide customer service & help me resolve it. I actually spoke to the Dr. - although he offered to make it right, and rescheduled us for the next day at Cottonwood, we just did not feel we wanted to risk it. Also; our other daughter went to the Cottonwood location a few weeks prior; the experience wasn't great, poor front desk & patient satisfaction overall. To the dentist that owns this place: my advice - re-train your staff & raise your expectations of how they treat your patients. You're in a PRIME location in Cottonwood Heights, but we chose to drive to West Jordan for care, due to this poor interaction. I know you guys can do better!!! Being "understaffed" is a BS reason/excuse and does not sit well with us, especially coming in as BRAND NEW 1st time patients. Going to the dentist gives a lot of people anxiety, and this entire experience did nothing to assuage that for us. I should have been tipped off by the shabby interior, however I went ahead with the cleaning and exam. In my 50+ years I've had 1 cavity. Imagine my shock when I was told I have 8 cavities and was in need of a root canal. He seemed very eager to schedule this. Even with insurance he estimated my expense to be $4000 out of pocket. Fortunately, I was leaving on vacation and let him know I would schedule it on my return. while on vacation, I thought long and hard about the situatio, I was not experiencing any pain or discomfort, I take care of my teeth, and had never had issues. I decided to seek a second opinion and pay for the exam out of pocket. I did not tell the second dentist anything about my recent exam. He did X-rays, hot and cold tests, and let me know he rarely saw teeth as healthy as mine in a man my age. To add insult to injury Dr. Wall billed me a copay, (my previous dentist never billed me anything for cleaning and Xrays), the copay was more than the exam at my new dentist. I would strongly recommend seeking any other practitioner in the area.
