Dr. Celesta Hunsiker is the worst physician I have ever encountered. Cold, uncaring, unempathetic, with the personality and bedside manner of a wet mop. She, also has no idea how to properly diagnose a patient. I honestly don't know how she ever became a physician, or why for that matter. Aside from being completely callous with her patients, her generic response to EVERYTHING is "there's nothing we can do for you." She misdiagnoses her patients constantly, sending them to urgent care the next day. She spends a total of 1 minute in the room with a patient, including patients that she has never met before. Dr. Hunsiker also is NOT knowledgeable on medications. She prescribed my mother a medication for cholesterol, that severely interacted with her blood pressure medicine. When asked if this medication as safe to take, Dr. Hunsiker replied, "yes, take it." Thank goodness our pharmacist gave my mother the CORRECT information, and said this medication was unsafe, and NOT to take it. Furthermore, Dr. Hunsiker gives out medication without looking at the possible side effects toward anything, including if her patient has diabetes. She prescribed prednisone to my mother, without notifying her that the prednisone would indeed increase her blood sugars dramatically. My mother ended up on the phone with an on call doctor that night, who couldn't understand why Dr. Hunsiker didn't explain that this could happen, and give advice on how to adjust her diabetes medication. Dr. Hunsiker also reduces a patients medication without their consent, without seeing them to discuss it, and without even KNOWING THE PATIENT. Why they let her have a license to practice, I'll never know. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DOCTOR. read more

The allergist I saw had the worst demeanor and bedside manor I have ever seen in my life! Porus J Dhabhar MD was not only rude to his nursing staff but to me on multiple occasions. Insead of listening to his patient (myself), he kept getting increasingly irratated and mad in which he snapped at me on multiple occasions. He precedded to tell me I don't have migraines nor can I distingush between a migraine or sinus headache. Well I hate to tell you buddy but I had been diagnosed with chronic migraines. He also told me that " Advil" with take away the pain that I have with my "blood tested and verified" Rheumatoid Arthritis! Well buddy once again you are wrong and that's why you are not specialized as a Rheumatologist and making the big bucks! There are many other aspects of this meeting that I will not mention, but suffice it to say that I would never nor will I ever recommend this MD or office for Allergy testing! I would much rather drive out to Syracuse to get the care, respect, and corrects answers that I need!

He did a thorough exam and diagnosed me with hypermobile joints super quickly, then asked me questions about other aspects of my health that I didn't even realize were connected until I looked up HSD later. His staff have always been very kind and supportive to me, and it really makes a difference knowing exactly what's wrong so that I can have the right treatment. Also, side note, I think it's WILD that people rate the doctor based on the attitudes of his receptionists. It's not like he's instructing them to be rude - that would be crazy - and he can't micromanage every interaction. Get a grip.

I injured my left arm in the gym in 3/25. The orthopedic department at my medical center stated…read morethat I needed surgery. They stated that the resident orthopedic surgeon was not going to be back in the office for 4 weeks. They asked me if I knew of an orthopedic surgeon that could perform my surgery. I had no clue. I asked my buddy Nick, he highly recommended Dr. Russell LaFrance at Hamilton Orthopedics because his orthopedic sports surgical background. I called his office to make an appointment and explained my situation. In 2 days I met with him and 2 weeks later I had my surgery. Dr. LaFrance did an exceptional job performing my surgery. At my 2 week follow up appointment, he stated that I needed physical therapy to strengthen and regain full functionality of my arm. He referred me to RM Physical Therapy, he stated that "they know what they are doing" regarding the rehabilitation protocol for my arm. On my first day at RM Physical Therapy, I was assigned to my physical therapist-Erik Harris. Erik was amazing! He was kind, helpful, and very knowledgeable. With all humility, I want to give my most sincerest thanks and gratitude to Dr. LaFrance. He helped me when I really needed help the most!
