I contracted Myles 0'Reilly Heating & Plumbing to replace a damaged sink in a house I've rented out in Naas, Co Kildare which he did perfectly, no issues there, my tenants informed me previously that that en-suite shower was not working correctly that the water would dribble out, I had a handyman look at the shower who told me it was a water pressure issue so has I had Myles 0'Reilly Heating & Plumbing working in my house I asked Myles if he could service the shower which Myles did and informed me that the motor was gone and the shower would need to be replaced. I asked Myles to test the new shower before installing it to be sure it was the motor and that the new shower would work perfectly, Myles informed me he did this and again informed me the existing shower was faulty and fitting a new shower would solve the issue, on this information and not being at the house as I was out of the country I gave Myles 0'Reilly Heating & Plumbing authorization to proceed with replacing what he informed me was my faulty shower. Having replaced the shower and telling me that he showed the shower working fully operational to my tenant and it worked perfectly (my bad, I should have checked with my tenants personally) I paid Myles 0'Reilly Heating & Plumbing in full for replacing both the sink and shower. One day later my tenant contacted me to state that the new shower was no different from the old shower and exactly the same problem, no water pressure and water dribbling out of the shower head. I contacted Myles 0'Reilly Heating & Plumbing to inform him of the problem, he said he would call over to inspect the shower, he never returned to the house and when I contacted him again he stated that he had taken on a new project and didn't have time to return to my house, as I paid Myles 0'Reilly Heating & Plumbing electronical by bank transfer there was nothing I could do and Myles 0'Reilly Heating & Plumbing like a proper cowboy rode off into the sunset with my money and a perfectly good shower he took from my house. I'm now taking Myles 0'Reilly Heating & Plumbing through the Irish court system where he has made a derisory settlement offer of €250.00 which I'm not accepting. Stay clear of Myles 0'Reilly Heating & Plumbing and do not give them your business, they have no morals, will rip you off, give you very bad service and will leave you in a worse position than you were in before you contacted them.
