They really care for all the kiddos and even when it's hard at times to leave my son, they put my nerves at ease with all the care they have for the children. This program may have worked ages and decades ago before common core but it is now pointless. The way this program is marketed is COMPLETELY misleading. This is NOT a tutoring type of program. I repeat, it is NOT a tutoring program. This program is intended to show the student other methods of working out problems not aiding them in understanding the material. For starters, they will not place your child i the area that needs work. No that's far too easy and will not generate enough revenue for them. They will start your child from the beginning of math regardless their age and grade. Yep, they're starting at first grade level that you have to pay $250 for monthly for ONE subject. They have to go through weeks of material of EACH GRADE level and must be completed within their ideal time allotment. If the answers are correct but the student exceeds the time allotment, the practice work will be extended for more weeks. The people "grading" the students' papers are probably about 16/17 years of age. I had my child in this program about 11 months before I had enough and pulled him out. It became a burden rather than an aid. Even at the 11 month mark the farthest he got for whichever excuse I was given was 4th grade. In normal daily class environment, the teachers want to see the work they did to obtain an answer. This program basically penalizes them for doing what the school system actually encourages. It is a scam, highly overpriced for what it is. I highly encourage all parents seeking out help for their children to hire a real actual experienced tutor. This is not what it seems, not what it's marketed to be and not what the program coordinator makes it out to be upon initial "interview".

They were attentive to our concerns, and devised tutoring programs that targeted their weaknesses while building upon their strengths. I have never encountered such wonderful staff! The best part is that the staff and tutors are bilingual. I recommended this tutoring center in Doral to my cousin who has two children from Venezuela who are in the process of learning English. The Director is caring and compassionate. While explaining how they would help my children the Director was attentive, and open to any questions or concerns that I had. What I enjoyed the most was the monthly follow-ups by the Director informing me of my children's progress, her visit to my children's school on two separate occasions, and the incredible counseling she gave my son for the ACT! My daughter, who is in high school as well, increased her scores on the FSA as a result of the FSA/Reading program she took at Huntington in Doral. Their programs are very much in line with common core state standards. We narrowed our list down to 6 facilities and visited each facility and spoke to each school's director. We also stopped by "unannounced" at each school at varying times of the day including lunch time and nap times. We also checked county and state public records for violations and complaints. In the end, we chose Cypress Preschool on Dixie Highway in Fort Lauderdale. It is now over a year since our granddaughter has been attending the preschool. I can say without reservation that we are 110% satisfied with the care and learning environment provided by this school. During the entire year that we have been associated with this school, we have never observed a sick child at the school other than minor runny noses. As a matter of fact, we were once called to pick up our granddaughter due to the fact that she began to run a fever at school. The teachers are very dedicated and do their very best to keep the children engaged in learning and happy while away from home. My granddaughter looks forward to going to school each day and visiting with all the friends she had made over the past year. When she arrives, she received "hugs" from several of the staff and loves all the activities that are provided. There are many activities including dancing, singing, arts and crafts, visits from dentists, firemen, holiday parties and "pizza day" on Fridays, bounce house day, and the list goes on and on! My wife and I could not be more pleased with the care and operation of Cypress Preschool.
