My 4x4 1994 Nissan Hardbody was running rough and losing power at highway speeds. Hunt's was recommended to me by a friend who lives in Henderson. I took it in and spoke with Zach. He was helpful and diagnosed the main problems, which were a timing chain and head gasket. Hunt's did the engine repairs, replaced the chain, and the gasket. It runs great now. I am very pleased with the outcome because I thought my old truck was coming to the end of the road. I have a reliable truck again and will drive it for many more years, both on and off the farm. I have had great service with Hunts Auto Repair. They replaced my car engine earlier this year. They also check other items on the car before I left their shop. They did a good job with my new tires. They have ordered a part for another issue I have. They will call me when they have it soon. They are friendly, give good information about repairs or the service they provide. Do not use this shop. Again I repeat do not use this shop. They inspected my son's car and told him he was good to make a 1400 mile trip. I was not OK with their conclusion and sent him to another shop the next day. That shop found that the engine was leaking from the valve cover on both sides. Also that it had a misfire in piston one and piston five as well as the exhaust manifold gasket being bad. If he would've made this trip there's a good chance his engine would've blown and he would've been stranded. I called and asked them for a refund of the hundred dollars that he paid them to do the job that they clearly didn't do. The husband agreed to it and I received a call back from the wife 10 minutes later absolutely freaking out on me claiming that they did nothing wrong And to take it to the person that put the engine in to get it inspected. Maybe she should've said this in the get-go and we wouldn't of had them do it. Do not use this shop read more
