Numerous individuals kindly replied to my request, but Stephen Whealan came in first. I asked for a reference, and that person provided a glowing report, so I called Stephen back. Stephen then requested a phone call, so he could better understand what was happening. He thought he could come out the following week, but when I expressed disapointment for the delay, he offered to rearrange his schedule, so he could come out the next day. He was punctual, friendly, sincere and knowledgeable. It was clearly important for him to leave the customer satisfied, and he took the time to explain what was going on, which I appreciated. Last Sat I turned on my two central air conditioners ,they came on for about two minutes then my…read morehouse lights dimmed and both units quit.I went down to my circuit breaker panel to check the breakers.I could smell something burning and noticed the air conditioner breakers were completely burnt.I waited until mon morning and called Crowe Electric at 7:30 am.Andrew the owner answered the phone, I gave him all my information and explained my problem.He told me he would be over between 8am and 12pm.3O minutes later he emailed me and informed me he was on his way.He arrived at 8:45 and checked the panel and told me the whole 40 circuit panel would have to be replaced.He quoted me a price, which I thought was very fair.I asked when he could do the job and how long it would take.He said he could start right away and it would take about 6 hours, which completely amazed me.I told him ok.He called his place and had a service man come over right away with all the materials.They were done in 5 hours.He also wired my generator to do the whole house instead of just the 10 circuits it was doing.He then asked if he could go thru the home so he could with his helper and intercom label all the breakers.Before he went thru the house he put on vinyl booties over his shoes.I have owned several homes over the past 65 years and have had hundreds of service people do all kinds of repairs done but I have never had such quality, prompt and efficient service before. Had a minor issue that needed additional troubleshooting with the unit, and after not hearing a…read moreresponse for 13 days I responded with a followup email asking for an update, and after waiting ANOTHER day I sent a followup email saying (This is word for word) that "I plan to initiate a chargeback on my card if I don't hear back." That was the ONLY thing that got them to respond. The president reached out and complained saying "At this point, though, since you felt it was important to threaten us, you've made the situation untenable." (which is an unhinged response lol), and ironically immediately proceeded to tell me that if I returned it and it was damaged in any way that they would "Pursue every legal remedy available to be fully compensated." He then signed the email off with "Threatening the people that are trying to help you must work great for you, but not us. Have a great day!" Absolutely unhinged response to a customer who was just trying to get support from an unhinged company. For blowing up at the most mild of messages, I couldn't imagine anyone needing any warranty or support help from them. Stay far away! Way better options out there at way better prices. After seeing this review they emailed me again: "Your public reviews were misleading, defamatory and libelous." ^ This just reinforces that they deserver a 1 star review. I'd review lower than one if I could.
