I came across this one here on Yelp, and I am SO happy that I did. The dentists here referred me to Dr. Pasternak, their oral surgeon. I hate having my teeth messed with and I'm already anxious just going to the dentist for cleanings. Needless to say, I was so nervous about the procedure and possible complications, but she did an amazing job of explaining everything to me and making me feel safe. Some of my wisdom teeth were impacted, so the procedure required more work and was done under anesthesia (by my request, I wanted to be out of it). Everything went exceedingly well, I had no pain during recovery, and the incisions/holes healed with ZERO complications. Two years later I still think back on the experience and how grateful I am to Dr. Suzanne Pasternak for the skill and care she provided. I figured I should write a review since I still feel so strongly. The office staff were amazing too and were very helpful during all of my pre-procedure visits. I highly recommend this place for everything dental-related. I would make it my regular dentist's office if I didn't live so far!

Two years later, we went in for cleanings. I have never accepted fluoride & we only do x-rays at the minimum my insurance allows. This was nothing new, but this time Booker seemed offended & expressed his frustration to me. I said that was my wishes & we hadn't had an issue before, but he wanted to argue. I declined, finished the cleaning & left. 6 months later I went in & needed to get an old filling replaced. I had just had a doctor's appt where she told me to be careful what type of filling I get for medical reasons. When I expressed this to Booker & asked questions about what he uses he said he wanted my doctor's name because he was going to tell her she didn't know what she was talking about. I said that is very aggressive & he proceeded to tell me that I just need to let him do his job. He could not tell me what type of filling material he used or any health risks. He then started ranting about people who ask too many questions. I declined for him to do my work. His attitude & aggressive behavior is disturbing. He has an attitude like no one knows more than him, but he can't even tell you the materials he uses. I decided then I would not return. The next time my husband took my kids, the receptionist asked him if he was competent enough to make follow up appointments or if she should call me. Extremely sexist & just plan rude. My kids then did not return. My husband was the last holdout, until now. This week, he has an emergency. He was in a car accident & cracked a tooth. He called the office at 11 am to find out they had different hours for spring break... they closed at noon. However they didn't answer the phone at 11 am... he left a message to say he had an emergency. Nothing. No call back. He called again today & it says now that they are closed until Monday. He then received a message saying they wouldn't take care of him until Monday. Who closes their office for Spring Break? This business is so unprofessional. We're done.

Who likes going to the dentist? Certainly not me! Well, I started going to see Scott after a bad experience with a previous dentist caused me to avoid going for quite some time. Embarrassed, I showed up at Dr. Doman's and got a cleaning and a general check-out. The hygienist and all the staff are super nice. It took two visits to do my first cleaning because it had been so long. (Very sad). They did a great job! I think I had to have an old filing repaired at that time too. Scott was super kind and attentive in every way, and very patient - especially for a scardey-cat like me. That was a couple of years ago. More recently I needed a crown. Scott fitted a temporary crown while we waited for the permanent one to come in. Well, it was late on a Saturday night, and quite out of the blue, my temporary crown broke for no apparent reason. (Because that's what they do, they wait for the most inopportune time to fail!) Panic! What do I do now? I had to fly out on a business trip the next day (Sunday). What on earth was I going to do? I decided to email Scott's office just in case they could direct me somewhere. Well, about a half-hour later, I received an email back from Scott asking me if I would be willing to come into his office the next day - Sunday morning at 8:15 AM. Can you believe it? I was almost crying! What a great guy! Sure enough next morning rolls around and there we are just the two of us in his office, which he opened just for me! He puts on the new temporary crown and I am all good to go for my new job. Fantastic! I ask you? Where can you find anyone who gives service like that? Scott is kind and gentle with a personable touch. He is highly skilled as a dentist, my new crown is perfect! He takes the time to get to know you and his staff are super awesome too. He has done 3 crowns for me and he can do another any time it is needed. My ex husband (world's biggest child at times) didn't go to the dentist for over 13 years. Yes, I stopped kissing him at year 8 and he still let his fear keep him away another 5 rears. But when he finally was forced to go to Dr. Valentine, he got his mouth problems fixed in 2 visits. He even started coming every 6 months and now drives down from Garden City. Office staff is professional and friendly.
