After my regular dentist (not this place!) referred me to an oral surgeon (for wisdom teeth extraction) that didn't have any reviews, I started looking for practices on my own. I came across this one here on Yelp, and I am SO happy that I did. The dentists here referred me to Dr. Pasternak, their oral surgeon. I hate having my teeth messed with and I'm already anxious just going to the dentist for cleanings. Needless to say, I was so nervous about the procedure and possible complications, but she did an amazing job of explaining everything to me and making me feel safe. Some of my wisdom teeth were impacted, so the procedure required more work and was done under anesthesia (by my request, I wanted to be out of it). Everything went exceedingly well, I had no pain during recovery, and the incisions/holes healed with ZERO complications. Two years later I still think back on the experience and how grateful I am to Dr. Suzanne Pasternak for the skill and care she provided. I figured I should write a review since I still feel so strongly. The office staff were amazing too and were very helpful during all of my pre-procedure visits. I found this dental office via Yelp and Google reviews. Based off the great reviews, I went ahead and made an appointment. And WOW! Such a great experience! I had an appointment already made, but life happens and I needed a different day. So they called me as soon as they had an opening for the day I preferred. I was so excited. It's hard to get an appointment at this dental office, and I see why. So as my first time, I walked in and up to the counter. I was nicely greeted and handed papers to fill out. They're definitely good at not keeping people waiting for long and getting them in for their appointment. I was called back no more than 10 minutes after arriving. Liz took great care of me. She was so kind and full of wisdom. The dentist came in the middle of my service and took a look at my X- Rays. Very short conversation there, but she was very sweet. Then Liz cleaned me all up and gave me a bag of goodies. Upon checking out, I even received a gift card for being a first time customer. I couldn't be happier with my experience here. I was recommended to this office via multiple people from various mom2mom Facebook groups for a great local dentist, and they certainly did not steer me wrong! I've technically now been there twice, once for a cleaning, once for a filling. I called them back in February to schedule an appointment, I couldn't believe they didn't have any openings (for my specific timing request) until 2 months later. Although that sucks that I had to wait so long, it says something about the quality of care they provide if they're that busy and people still rave about them. Since I gave all my insurance information when I initially called them, I was able to sign in, get my teeth in and just leave. Their touch screen sign-in system is pretty cool, definitely saves a lot of money by going paperless. I honestly don't remember my hygienist's name, but she was very thorough, and as far as pain, it was 2/10 at the most (since I haven't gone to a dentist since before I became pregnant. FYI - pregnant women shouldn't go to the dentist while pregnant because your gums swell and you shouldn't be around all the chemicals and x-ray, but I digress...). I did have to make a second trip in to get a filling. My appointment was at 12:30, I was out of the office shortly after 1. The procedure was quick partly because it was a small filling, but Dr. Holden was very skilled and the quality work was done quickly. All in all, I loved my experience there, and I look forward to going back, and when my kids are old enough, to bring them there as well. read more

Because of a previous bad experience with extractions (*elsewhere*), I procrastinated about getting the work done. I have so many great things to say about Dr. Al-Hadidi and the team at Canton Dentists, I don't know where to start! I went in for the Icon Resin Infiltration treatment to get rid of the white spots on my teeth that I've had since I was young. I had done some research and didn't want to set my hopes TOO high as the procedure was relatively newer and I didn't want to be disappointed. To say the spots on my teeth bothered me would be an understatement; they were something I had been insecure about my entire adult life, really since my early teens. I had tried Kor whitening (more permanent bleaching, and more expensive) to blend the spots, which didn't really work, and really just resigned myself to the idea that I was going to have to get veneers at some point. Fast forward to hearing about this treatment and finding Dr. Al-Hadidi. The staff, Brad and Natalie, were excellent; very knowledgeable, professional, and kind! I was so comfortable before Dr. Al-Hadidi even came in! When she did, she explained the procedure to me very clearly, taking the time to all my questions. During the procedure, she consistently made sure to explain what she was doing every step of the way and made sure to ask how I was doing, and this procedure is NOT a painful one. I appreciated much how much she was willing to communicate! Finally, after the procedure, I saw the results: the spots are GONE. I can't even tell they were ever there! I almost cried. Dr. Al-Hadidi also filled a small gap in the middle of my two front teeth, which was quick and easy. I can finally say after years of insecurity, I have a perfect smile. As a successful patient, I HIGHLY recommend the Icon Resin Infiltration treatment to anyone who is insecure about having white spots. Easy check-in. Friendly staff. Thorough dentist. After a few bad experiences with other dentist in the area, I was leery about trying this office out. The couple of dentists I went to seemed a bit money hungry. Finding problems where there were none. My prior dentist told me that I had 9 cavities on my right side. I did not say anything to them during the exam, to see what they would say. The dentist told me that I had 4 very small cavities that were only on the enamel. And that if I continue to follow proper brushing and flossing, there should be no need to do a filling. I was floored! I ask her to double check. The dentist (Dr. Hadid?) assured me that their assessment was accurate. She reviewed the digital x-rays with me and showed me exactly what she was looking at. Bottom line, I appreciate them not suggesting unnecessary work. And then on the way out, the receptionists were very friendly. They helped me with booking the next 6 month cleaning. And they also gave me a $30 gift card for being a new patient! They have multiple stores to choose from, I picked Tim Horton :-). Would highly recommend! read more

Dr Botero, who did my root canal, is EXCELLENT . She did her utmost to keep me out of pain. Dr Holden is very caring, and did my filling fast and easy. My most favorite dentist there is Dr. Steinhoff. She is SO GOOD! She makes sure I have NO PAIN, and she is a JOY to be around. Everyone at Pinkney, Greenbaum, and MacFarland has been ultra caring- from the answering service, to the office staff, the hygienists , and especially THE DENTISTS. I would refer anyone to them. I owe this one to my fellow Yelpers and online reviewers. My old dentist retired a while back and I dragged my feet for a bit finding a new dentist. Don't judge me. After doing a bit of research, I made an appointment for my first cleaning. Seems like this place has a pretty full load as I had to wait a couple weeks to get in despite pretty wide open availability. I'd rather have to wait two weeks than have a dentist that has availability immediately. Anyway...rolled in today. People at the desk were all very friendly. Didn't even have time to finish my paperwork before I got called back. Place runs like a well-oiled machine. The cleaning and x-ray process were very thorough. The hygienist told me some things that I had never heard before - like I'm killing my gums by brushing too hard and using a harder toothbrush. I appreciated that she was thorough, friendly, and conveyed her suggestions in a way that seemed like genuine care and concern for my well-being. Met with the doctor after the fact. He said everything checked out, but that I've got some things that could be issues in the long-run. I had been going to the same family dentist for over 30 years, so I didn't really have anything to compare it to. Seems like I was missing out a bit! I was a few minutes (15 mins) late for my initial visit, but they were very kind to accommodate me. The front desk staff is courteous. I was let into the clinic space by Ms Barb who was my dental hygienist. She explained what she was going to do and was gentle and thorough in the cleaning process. She also shared some dental hygiene tips. Next, I was led to another area to get my Xrays done which was a breeze. Dr MacFarland patiently reviewed the Xrays with me and assisted me in making future decisions. He was thorough. I am very happy with my pick for a fantastic dental group! I love everything about this dentist. I have met all four dentists. And they are equally as great. At first only my husband went, but now we the whole family is going, they are great with kids. They are not money hungry, if your insurance doesn't cover x-rays they will still do them, to provide you with great service. I love the friendly staff, and the way they talk and explain kids the way to brush, and give them point a thorough check up. All the hygienist are super clean, and take pride in the work and workspace. I love the email reminders or the text msg reminders. Trust me you won't be disappointed. Hello all, I'm just giving a quick update because I've already written a couple of reviews on this business, so I don't want to bore you. But I just had to rave once again on how kind, loving, caring, understanding and all around amazing Dr. Pinkney and his staff are! I don't care if I move to Toledo, I think I'd drive back to come here for dental treatment. Dentistry is something like the many other businesses where you learn to trust and you don't want to change. The staff and Dr. Pinkney are just so helpful with everything and they understand. I've been in the Dental field or had been for 17 years and worked for a different Dentist until he retired. I trusted him and didn't know what I was going to do when he retired. I was so happy to have found Dr Pinkney because I definitely trust him and his entire office staff. Caryolyn is my favorite Hygenist, because she just knows me best and my pain issues (I have a nerve disease thats painful called RSD/CRPS") and she's gentle and kind. If you need a Dentist who caters to cowards and sorta almost cowards; a Dentist who is kind and gentle and trusting; a Dentist who truly cares about all people in general and about you....then you should come here to Dr. Pinkney's office! read more

Today was my first time in as a new patient. I'd been going to the same dentist for 15+ years, but I'd moved and it was time for a change. The "intake" process (paperwork!) was pretty painless comparatively, and they had already managed to get my file details from my previous dentist, including x-rays! I got a full set of x-rays taken, using the new digital plate which is MUCH more comfortable than the old films. There was even a 360degree machine I hadn't seen before. Michelle was my Hygienist and I couldn't have been more pleased! She was very thorough, friendly, and everything went perfectly. I love this dentist office. I've been coming here since I was a kid and they continue to do a fantastic job keeping my teeth healthy. The hygienists and dentists are all very friendly and efficient, and I almost never have to wait long if I show up on time for my appointment. They seem to always have updated technology and really get to know me personally. Nothing bad to say after 30 years as a patient. I feel great trusting my dental health to this office. Back again with a broken Crown on 9-9-2019. I called at 7:15 am Monday after breaking a Crown Sunday Night. Heather was awesome! She was able to get me scheduled for 10:00 am with the best Dentist on the planet Dr. Al-Hadidi. I faced a decision as the margins on my broken crown were still okay but a fair amount of enamel on the old style crown had chipped off and metal was exposed. Dr. Al-Hadidi did not pressure at all to make the decision. I made my decision to replace based on aesthetics and function and I do not regret it. Dr. Al-Hadidi is always patient, kind and understanding which is much appreciated as visits to the dentist office can be very stressful. She is a skilled dentist and I trust her. I wish I could give zero stars...I spent thousands of dollars in this facility trying to figure out why my wife was in pain and they failed miserably...they took her wisdom tooth out and did 6 fillings with no success. We went to another doctor and she fixed her up in the first visit. I guess anybody can get a degree from a so called established university. They don't even do good cleaning. Just saying from my experience spend less money and don't get sold by people like this facility or any other. Most over charge and underperform. She explained everything very thoroughly and answered all my questions. My dentist, Dr. Timpner, also was very friendly and great. She advised me to not do certain procedures that other dentists in the past had encouraged, due to safety and excessive expense . This was our third child in for wisdom teeth removal. Dr Pasternak has done at least the last two and I think all three. She's wonderful! Super bedside manner and an amazing oral surgeon. We also go to the practice for reg dental care and they're all great. Only minor thing this time was the assistant was kind of rushing us out afterwards, and when we got in the car realized we had a question but the door was already locked and lights were out. So... This review has been long overdue! My family and I all had dental exams and cleanings here last year and it's almost time for us to get our 6 months and I already know based off my first experience, it will be nothing short of wonderful! We all saw Dr. Greenbaum and the utmost care and patience was used. I was asked if I had any concerns, of which I did and they were addressed. My daughter and husband were both nervous, but Dr. Greenbaum was very reassuring and kind. I can truly appreciate that as getting them both to the dentist is like pulling teeth! :) no pun intended. The office was clean and the hygienists were patient and friendly. Once your first visit is complete, they let you pick a gift card from their selection! Talk about incentives. The front desk is always professional and I never felt like I was at a dentist. I will most definitely continue to go here regardless of where I end up. It's well worth the superior service. Last scheduled appointment I waited over a full 45 minutes for the dentist to enter the examination room. Several times I inquired of whoever was passing the door if the dentist had been notified I was waiting. When finally she came in, there was no explanation, no apology given for my wasted time! When leaving, I asked if it was a busy day and was told no. Totally unacceptable, and a wait I will not sit through again! I love this dental office! They get you in quickly, they care and take care of you and they are just awesome. I didn't go to the dentist for 10 years and these guys didn't grill me for waiting so long. They made me feel comfortable and I'm going to be a returning patient. I had to have a root canal and two cavities filled and they took great care of me, worst part of the root canal was the numbing and the Dr. called me after to make sure everything was going well, who does that now days? These guys! They only want done what is needed to keep your mouth healthy and won't push for unnecessary procedures. They have care credit so if you don't have dental insurance it helps soften the blow of out of pocket payments (and honestly I'm surprised at their pricing as well, it's doable) give these guys a try. read more
