Horrible Office Staff Experince!…read more I tried to email this place about their dental practices as I was curious for some insight and was rudely spoken to in an email and degraded by whomever emailed me today (2 march 2024). Whoever works at the Dr Arun Narang office should check how this person spoke to me, it was a simple misunderstanding on my part and was hit back with a degrading email that made it seem like I wasn't "serious" about what I was asking about. I was told to send photos, x-rays and a letter from my orthodontist so they could refer me to a surgeon, which I responded that I would get those documents from my orthodontist (since I don't have them with me so I would need to ask my ortho) and I said this I said that I would need to contact my ortho to get this info and I will be in contact with them soon, yet I was screamed at through email by whomever was email. And I was told in the next email ,after I said I STILL need to get those documents for you I will give it to you soon, that " If you want to be taken seriously provide me what I am asking ". How rude can you be. This is how I know this person didn't read my email. I had to email back and refer to my previous email stating that I still need to get the documents. I was also told "Do what I asked of you" which is quite a harsh way to speak to someone who is a potential customer. Horrible Horrible customer service. Staff doesn't have to be this rude, its appalling. Staff shouldn't be this cold to potential customers. I have however found an amazing office somewhere else, the staff is amazing and kind. Kindness goes a long way.

It was so bad that I went to 3 different dentists after the fact to remove what they did. I would mention it, but I have no idea what to call what they did. Each dentist I subsequently saw were shocked and have never seen such a procedure. Luckily I was able to remove what they did and found an awesome dentist in the process. Moreover, they said they were going to bill the insurance company for two fillings rather than the procedure they did. So now, if I did get a cavity on those teeth, the insurance company probably will not pay. No thanks. Unprofessional and dishonest not to mention the pain I endured from their "work."

I was referred by my partner who has been here since he was a kid. The dentistry team here are friendly and family oriented. The same dental hygienist is usually cleaning my teeth. I like the consistency because they know your teeth and tolerance when it comes to cleaning. I don't know who else feels the same about dental cleaning, but I find it therapeutic. What makes it better is when you look up to the ceiling light you will see pictures of clouds and/or hot air balloons. Today I started my Invisalign treatment. I broke my old partial denture. Dr. Metwally could get me…read morein the next morning. She seemed so nice! Very patient, talked me through the molds, told me what to expect. She gave me 2 options for a new partial. One was over $800, more durable but harder to adjust if necessary, and the other was over $500, slightly less durable but easier to adjust. I do not have benefits at my job, so I went with the less expensive one. I also chose it because it could be adjusted if need be! 2 days later the partial is ready. I go to the dentist and the denturist is there. He makes some minor adjustments, clips a wire, adds some stuff to make it fit right on the top of my mouth. He told me to come back in a couple days, let them keep the partial for a few hours to finalize the adjustments, and I'd be good to go! Due to work schedule, a week with the flu, and Canadian Thanksgiving, I wasn't able to get back to the dentist for almost 3 weeks. I dropped the partial off at 10am, and went and waited at a coffee shop. 3 hours later I'm back at the dentist. Excited to have my tooth back. I have no idea what the denturist did to my partial, but it wouldn't even go in. The dentist started grinding it down. She'd grind a little, and then try to put it in. No dice. At one point she forced it into place. It moved my teeth and caused immediate pain. I started crying. She told me to calm down. Told me I'm too sensitive. She ground it down some more. No matter what she did it still didn't fit right (although many times she said "I think its fitting perfectly" and for some reason I didn't have the spine to say "if it fit perfectly I wouldn't have a mouth full of pain") She got frustrated and started snapping at me. Barking orders. "OPEN YOUR MOUTH" (it was open, I'm sorry I can't unhinge my jaw), slamming cupboard doors, and her whole demeanor changed. She took new molds to have a new partial made. Yesterday I went to get the new one. The plate fit the roof of my mouth okay, but needed some minor adjustments. She got frustrated pretty quickly this time. One big problem for me was the tooth was visibly crooked, and causing a gap at the back of my front teeth and making me lisp. When I told her this she picked up the grinder. I sighed. I was frustrated too. I paid good money for this thing and they can't seem to get it right. That's when she said it. "Calm down, it's just a tooth" No, it's not just a tooth. It is a gap in the front of my mouth that makes people ask questions that I don't like answering. That I'm ashamed of. I snapped. She was clearly not listening to me. How are you going to grind away something that is already missing. I picked up the first partial they made me - that doesn't fit quite right and has jagged spots that cut my tongue because she ripped wires out of it, and left. I did not leave in an elegant manor, not by any stretch of the imagination. Her lack of professionalism, her dismissal of my pain and discomfort, and her short temper caused me to act poorly, and I'm not proud of myself for that. I'm now going to have to spend hundreds more to get another dentist to make me a proper denture that fits, as I won't be going back to Dr. Metwally (her receptionist also let me know that Dr. Metwally doesn't want me back... so, taking my money was okay, but giving me proper service and product is of no concern to her.)

She only prescribed antibiotics in case of an infection. My daughter was in severe pain all weekend and when I finally got her in to see the specialist he was confused as to why I had come to him, as this was something that our family dentist should have been able to fix! He recommended we find another family dentist. Done.
