Apparently, HURS closed its doors & the new owners turned HURS into a schlock house which has a different name. Walked in w/my daughter & not one person said welcome or came over to ask if we needed help. Didn't buy much but did find exercise leggings & earmuffs reasonably priced. Items were in bins, against the wall, on racks. Store is disorganized & congested, in my opinion. Chances are I will not return & I will not recommend this place to anyone. read more

My friend suggested that we meet here because she needed some items for a show and wanted to show me the wholesale jewelry market on Buford Highway. The place is ten minutes from me, right under my nose. I had a ball, buying jewelry for myself and jewelry to break down into earrings and bracelets. I bought cute/fashionable eyeglasses, a few hats, leggings for working out and a few other trinkets. My friends bought quite a bit too. It was so refreshing to go shopping with someone who is not always whining.."I ani't got no money." We spent money like a flowing river. I am set for the weekend. I can work all weekend making my bomb earrings, bracelets, anklets and some necklaces. I did not want to get into jewelry making. But I see that it is just another extention of my awesomely creative ass. This place will most definately be a regular stop. If you like sparkly stuff, this is the place for you, ladies. I stopped at Hur's because I needed some costume jewelry for an upcoming work party and didn't have time to drive to Duluth for another jewelry store I like. Anyways, I was very impressed with their variety of jewelry and prices. Some costume jewelry places just have the tackiest stuff. I mean stuff that no one, not even drag queens or pre-teens, should ever wear. But at Hur's the variety is a bit more tasteful. Yeah, there is some tacky stuff, but it's not just all bright colors and sparkles. There's even stuff that an elementary school teacher could wear, like pins and earrings with apples on them. Outside of jewelry, there was also a nice selection of things like scarves, hats, and hair pins. read more

I decided to check this place out today after seeing it highlighted as "hot on Yelp". I think it's a great option for wedding jewelry, esp. if you don't have time to get to Apparel Mart. They've got a pretty good selection of Austrian crystal necklaces & earrings for brides & bridesmaids, plus tiaras for the bride. They've also got a selection of little purses for evening wear. Everything is super cheap. I confirmed with one of the workers that a membership card isn't required to purchase the items. Other than for wedding jewelry and maybe a clutch purse, I don't think I'd ever have a need to come back though. read more

Wow! I wasn't ready to get down and dirty so I did myself a dis-service by running in on my lunch break. This place offers a wide variety of hair clips, jewelry and handbags. It is a place I would have ventured to in preparation of prom night. They offer everything from beaded necklaces with matching earrings to items for those crafty enough to create their own. Just a note, this is not for the Tiffany divas - this is rhinestone city! The staff is helpful and I will definitely be back so I can take more time to peruse. read more

Wow, I was sooooo in awe with this place. My girlfriend rold me about this place and decided to take me for a visit, can I say I was in accessory HEAVEN! I am an accessory queen and I just wasn't ready to leave this place, they started closing the overhead window shutters and turned off the music, but i was still looking, I MUST go back. When I first walked in I just started touching things because i just couldn't believe it! They have everything you can imagine, from hats, scarfs, rings, necklaces, bracklets, broaches, purses & pendants for any and all occasions for the BEST price in town. This place is honestly very reasonable in price and the staff actually allow you to browse and don't follow you or harrass, they just let you shop until your heart is content. Korean-owned accessory retailer. Sells bags, purses, hats, scarves, and lots of costume jewelry. I'm overwhelmed every time I come here - there's so much to look at! I usually spend at least half an hour here and want to buy everything because the prices are so reasonable. Lots of wholesale stuff made in China/Korea, but excellent quality. They keep the trendy items rotating quickly to keep up with the fashions, so there's always something new every time I come here. Aww man...Now everyone will stop asking where I got those gorgeous earrings and soo many bangles, and they will be wearing them. Oh well, I stumbled into Hur's on one of my Buford Highway adventure days(gotta do those every once in a while) and fell in love. There's a million tacky things there from beaded evening purposes and faux leather knockoffs to shiny scrunchees and patriotic lapel pins. But the excitement for me is in the earring aisle along the righthand side: Tons of chandeliers, crystals, shiny pendant, colorful, plastic, painted, shell, silver, bronze, gold, earrings all under 7 bucks and mostly under five bucks. Cheap earrings are whassup to me, so that's the deal. You can also find some great bangles, beaded necklaces or random accessories like purse mirrors, compacts, headbands, etc. read more

My pal Stacy turned me onto Hur a couple of years ago around the time she was shopping for jewelry for her wedding and since then, I've been keeping it secret from all but my best of gal pals. This spot is a must-visit for all Atlanta ladies. Don't go expecting high quality items--you won't find them here. What you will find is fashionable costume jewelry at reasonable prices. read more

Once again my eyes hurt...too many shiny things within close proximity to me... I love shiny things! Hur's is a huge store with everything from hair clips..earrings.. necklaces..purses..scarfs..broaches and a little bit of everything in between! ( everything from cubic zirconia like wedding day accessories to Scottish terrier earrings * puzzled look*) Although I didn't find anything on this visit I'm sure to bring some friends by next time.. This place is really big, meaning they offer a large selection of fashion jewelry, purses, scares, pocketbooks, belts, tiaras, necklaces, earrings, sun glasses, reading glasses, tiaras, bracelets, cool leggings, so much stuff I cannot list here. I see different items each time I visit. You absolutely cannot beat the prices here and the people who run the place are wonderful to work with. I know people who've been shopping here for 20 years. It's one of Atlanta's best kept secrets.
