Located in a busy shopping strip in Pembroke Pines, this small store carries a great variety of items that you wouldn't find in a big chain pharmacy. The service was personal and they are set up with best practices for COVID-19. Although in a rush to make it in time to the post office before closing, I plan to return that I can browse through the rest of the shelves in search of some other great finds. I have trying to locate a specific prescription for two plus weeks. I called this business. Spoke…read morea a very patient and understanding pharmacist....Samuel. He had what I needed and I needed to transfer the prescription to his shop. I went in person and got the electronic prescription from the Walgreens. Called him at 2:35pm Saturday. Knowing he closed at 3:00pm, I explained I might actually "just" arrive at 3:00pm. His answer to me was..."Not to worry, I'll wait for you...drive safe". We arrived at 2:58pm. He filled the prescription. Gave me the needed extra directions for using the solution. And even went back to get me an small empty pill bottle to "hold" the vial of solution. Samuel is the best example of a caring and concerned pharmacist. He went that extra step to make sure I was taken care of...that I understood the new directions. Thank you. Thank you.

I then proceeded to call another well-known, long established medical supply pharmacy, and I confirmed that a prescription is not required. When I went back into the store to let them know that they were not in compliance, woman behind the register got very nasty with me and said that she didn't care, and that they require a prescription for everything. I will never return there again. The Pillbox is such a better place. Don't go to this shady company.

We…read moreare a little disappointed by the recent introduction of additional hurdles that prevents patients from following the doctor's treatment plan. We do understand that they're trying to not only comply with but go overboard and being extra cautious when it comes to the dispensation of certain medications but it forces some patients to either switch to a different pharmacy or stick with them and jump through some additional and unnecessary hurdles. I'm planning on staying with this business because I had nothing but positive experience 99.99% of the time. I highly recommend it!
