I like huskies (dogs), but I love Husky Heating and Air Conditioning more! Our weather has been dreadfully cold, with temperatures around the -25ºC mark, with the wind chill (-13ºF). Husky replaced our HVAC several years ago, and we never had a problem with our furnace. Last week, I noticed the temperature dropped a few degrees, and it took a long time for the heat to come back up. This never happened before, even when our weather was colder. I turned the furnace on and off, and restarted the thermostat, which did the trick, but I noticed it was misbehaving again. It was -26ºC this past weekend, and I called the afterhours service department. We discussed the situation and rates, but I made a judgement call to wait until Monday for a technician to visit. We had mini electric heaters in case the temperature dropped dramatically. On Monday morning, the office called to say our regular technician who I requested was unavailable, but they would send someone else right away. The furnace decided to play nice by the time the technician arrived - don't you hate when that happens? After checking the furnace and thermostat, he wasn't able to find any issues, but he did show me how to spot an error code for future reference. We always have our HVAC maintained by Husky, and find their service is friendly and efficient. I'm just grateful a technician came out so quickly, and that our furnace is working fine now! read more

We bought our air con and furnace from Husky a few years back. We noticed however this season we were getting some water on the floor behind the inside aircon unit. We called them late on Tuesday and they suggested they come and do a maintenance. They booked us for the following day. Glad we did. It turns out we had a blocked drain. Gregor cleaned it up and then then did a service on the unit. Was a very reasonable price and I feel like Husky really came through for us. No surprise there. Dmitri and his team did a great job on the original install. Highly recommend them for your air con and heating needs. They service the GTA. We purchased our HVAC system from Dmitri a few years ago, and we are still very happy with our decision. We always purchase the fall/spring maintenance package together to save on $. We prepay for both when our furnace and humidifier are serviced in the fall, and Victoria (so friendly and helpful) always remembers to call us in May for our a/c appointment. We just had our a/c serviced by Dave, and he was very patient and explained what he was doing (all the technicians are great). Gregory came to perform a maintenance check on my furnace and to clean my fireplaces. After a few years of neglect, and a 16 year run on my home builder's grade of furnace, Gregory showed me that the carbon monoxide ratio was awful, and required a replacement of the heat exchangers. He helped me do some research for both a parts-only fix and for an entire replacement unit. I started poking around the various retail and wholesale memberships but it became obvious through Gregory's insight and experience that he was a proud employee of a trustworthy company. Continuing to deal with Husky as a trusted and VERY RESPONSIVE service company made the most sense. By the next morning, Dmitri (the quarterback & voice on the phone) had a unit and a crew beginning the installation at 10am. Both Navid and his helper Sam went above and beyond in the few hours that it took to replace my furnace. They were very polite, respectful of my home, careful, and pleasant to interact with. Navid took the extra time to "do the right thing" and installed a new fresh/outdoor air intake rather that taking the lazy way out and just keep recirculating air from my storage room. They left the place cleaner than the way they found it too! Nothing but positive things to say about Husky Heating and Air Conditioning. Husky saved the day when my furnace broke down. I had another company come out initially. They wanted to charge an absurd amount to replace the part, which they said would not be in stock for another 6 days. I had no heat! So i called Husky and they told me they could get the part and install at my home within hours. The price was half what the other guys quoted as well.
