Quick Story...my furnace has been giving me issues (working for a few days then suddenly turning off) since last year. Somehow got through last winter but as soon as we turned on the furnace this year, we started having issues again. Before Artisan Air Heating and A/C (Khaleel) came by, I had another company come through (Clue: They Smile) and when they looked at the issue they very quickly diagnosed the issue as being a Gas Pressure Switch issue. Dude "luckily" just had the part that I needed in his van came back and fixed it. I paid for the Service Call (to diagnose the issue) + The Part and The Labour. Couple weeks later the issue turned up again. This time I contacted Khaleel. He came by the same day to diagnose the issue. He did a much better investigation into the issue. Educated me on what he was testing and checking the whole time he was there and concluded that I needed a new Gas Valve. He informed me that since my Furnace was new, the warranty would cover the part. All he did after was quote me was how much it would be for the repair (Labour). He quoted me a VERY reasonable price for his time and oh, he does his diagnoses for free! He came back first thing the next day as I called him on a Sunday and he could not get the part until Monday morning, fixed the Furnace, made sure everything was running smoothly even after the furnace turned on. Paid the guy and we parted ways. Key Points? A supposedly reputable company did not even inform me about the parts warranty I had for pressure switch (which costs CONSIDERABLY less than a Gas Valve) and charged me crazy for the Part and Repair, which was really only taking out and putting back in two screws with the new switch. Meanwhile, from the service Khaleel provided I was not only educated on my warranty and how long I had left on it, I learned a bit more about my furnace and he charged me only half of I paid to those "Smile"-ing technicians for a job that was 10x more difficult. If you are in the GTA area, call Artisan. Honest people like them need to be rewarded for providing service they do because let's be real, it can get costly. So please, CALL Artisan for any HVAC related issues. Their number has already been saved on my phone for the future, I do not want to deal with anyone else! read more

Normally I don't bother writing a review because I find it too time-consuming.. However, I feel it is important for me to spread the word on how awesome Khaleel is. I first hired him in the summer to help with my AC problem.. he was able to quickly diagnose the issue with the motor; and offer a couple options -- replace the motor; or the entire compressor unit.. he was completely honest with his recommendations and was quick to source the part and repair it (I had a few other technicians who came in and quoted to fix the issue at roughly 50-75% higher cost). This past weekend, my furnace broke down, and he was able to quickly diagnose the problem (again) to be broken heat exchanger -- again, he provided options.. given that the furnace was over 14 years old, he had recommended to replace the unit.. Again, he was able to source a few highly efficient furnace quickly, and install the new furnace the next day.. A side note -- I believe experience goes a long way... Khaleel was correct in his recommendation -- while replacing the furnace he explained to me that other components in the old furnace that were rusted so it is really beyond repair at that point.. For those that wants furnace/AC to be fixed right on the first time, I would highly recommend Khaleel! read more

Called for a second opinion since I'd had someone in to check on my furnace the day before and they'd concluded it probably needed to be replaced. It seemed to be overheating and was shutting down prior to reaching its heating target. Khaleel arrived about 30 minutes after my call and quickly identified the problem and performed a repair in under an hour. He exhibited a level of familiarity with my particular furnace that the previous technician hadn't shown. I mentioned that he's got incredibly glowing reviews on Yelp and he was self-effacing and said that they do their best to make their customers happy. Khaleel was very prompt in his response when our furnace wasn't working around midnight. He came the next morning at 8 AM and quickly diagnosed the problem. We ended up needing a new inducer motor and pressure switch. Khaleel got those parts the same day and the furnace is now working. Overall our interactions were pleasant. Update: after the great experience with Khaleel about our furnace, we called him again when our air conditioner wasn't working. He identified that the capacitor needed to replaced and because he had the part with him our air conditioner was working within an hour! 5 stars read more

Very happy with Khaleel's great service to replace our condo's A/C fan motor: fast response to inspect, quote and repair; very competitive pricing; wonderful customer support; honoured his original labour quote even though our unit is almost inaccessible to service, and he had to spend extra time to remove and replace the old motor. Even advised us how and when to perform regular maintenance on the new motor to make sure it lasts as long as possible! Our furnace was starting but would shut down after a few minutes. I called Artisan after reading all of the positive reviews and arranged for next day service call. Khaleel came on time and after some time he was to fix the problem, turned out not a problem with the furnace but a blocked intake. His perseverance to find the solution saved me a money not replacing expensive parts. He very fairly charged me for his time spent. I have reached out to Khaleel's services before and decided to call him again to service my furnace at my newly purchased home. During the buying process we were told that our furnace would need to be replaced within the next year however upon Khaleel's expert inspection he advised although not as efficient as a new one, our furnace was in very good condition and able to keep for the next 10 years. The technician showed up right inside the 2 hour window they had provided, and very friendly and wore a mask the entire time.
