Even though it was late on a Friday afternoon, he showed no signs of fatigue at all and was completely focused on the work. Fernando is a super nice, gentle, and honest person. He was very sincere in his work and took the time to thoroughly check and test the appliance end-to-end after installing it. We called Texas electrical connect after a different electrician couldn't figure out why 3 outlets…read morein our kitchen went dead even after 2 hours of "diagnosing" and told us he would need 6-8 hours at $175 per hour to diagnose the problem and cut a bunch of holes in our Sheetrock. We did not want to do that without knowing what the problem was. Texas electrical connect sent Fernando to our rescue! He was super polite and courteous and considerate and very methodical and diligent in his troubleshooting. He figured it out (no holes needed to be cut!) and was super efficient and tidy with his repairs. He took the time to explain to us what had happened and clearly explained the recommended repair and cost. Just the tank, pan, and 'labor' (an hour) was just shy of $4000. The remaining was for 'permit and processing' and 'replace hose bib'. That tank is around $800 retail, so that's a very expensive lesson. We are waiting on the service manager to call us and walk us through it.... We had to call them back because they didn't call us. I'm sure it is shocking to hear that 'it's just their price', but they have a whopping two-year warranty. Wow. In our view, they took advantage of folks who trusted them to help. Not good business.
