Their selection of vitamins and supplements is insane!! It almost felt like a GNC in that part! I like how there are signs at the top of the aisles clearly marking where things were in this section, made it easy to find homeopathic allergy remedies. Right next to the supplements is their also impressive personal care section. They have such a selection of soaps, facial care, even make-up! I found different scents of soaps I already use, which was fun! I will definitely be back just because of that! Have a pet food section, toiletries, water, juices and other beverages....Not a large frozen section, but enough of the staples. They do have some bulk spices and nuts, but they are all pre-portioned in bags. They do not have a meat/chicken/seafood counter...Everything is packaged either refrigerated or frozen. Employee asked for our name, then to spell our last name and then to spell our first name. They're all pretty basic, but we weren't bothered by this. Beyond this necessary communication the employee said zilch to us. The woman was absolutely miserable. Once our prescription came through the window there was no "thank you," or "have a nice weekend." This was a huge departure from the super nice and engaging pharmacy manager who works here. Yikes. If anyone from Walgreens is reading this and you can figure out who was working the Edgewood Rd. drive-thru window on Saturday, 06/12/21 at 2pm, please encourage some additional customer service training. Whatever Sprinkles Your Donuts!…read more For nutritional and blood sugar reasons, I largely stay out of donut shops. There are exceptions like Tim Horton's in Canada and most recently Donutland. This is the real deal and with lots of delicious sugar bombs to choose from, courtesy of an engaged staff. And contrary to the urban legend, no donut-loving police officers were present during my visits. Prices have gone up over the years, with my chocolate old fashioned the first morning, and what I call a "Hawkeye Sprinkled" donut the second morning running at $1.84 each. The first morning's donut was consumed on the way to Iowa City, while the 2nd one was saved for the airplane flying out of Cedar Rapids. I found their coffee to be pretty good too. Note: Plenty of casual inside seating is available, as is nice selection of branded items.

The filling tasted like a fresh blueberry pie: bright, jammy, and perfectly balanced against tender, slightly pillowy dough. The glaze was light enough to let the fruit shine. The young lady behind the counter was friendly and very helpful in guiding my choices. The shop's ambiance evokes an old‑school donut parlor -- warm, unpretentious, and comforting. This was my first Donutland donut, and it surely won't be my last. I'll be back.

I mainly came for some coffee creamer and sandwich making supplies, but of course left having purchased more than that (beware of that dang housewares aisle - found some great pet items which added to my overall bill). Seasonal items are also fun to try and stock up on. If you find a seasonal item that you really like, I recommend buying multiples. You may see it once or twice, but not after that. Several of the aisles could have been tidier, but I'd imagine this is best done before/after hours when the store is closed. Too busy otherwise. Our cashier was efficient and friendly. For those shopping after dark, hopefully they get their parking lights fixed soon, as I noticed a sign on the exit door indicating that they're working on a solution. Speaking of the parking lot: there is ample space, just make sure you're keeping your eyes peeled for other customers cutting through the parking lot and generally not paying attention.
