And for 75 cents a pop you can afford to become obese and enjoy every bite of it. It should be mentioned that Zem's is in a grocery store. And old farmers love this place as much as I do, perhaps more. The tables are reserved every hour of the day for different groups of farmers to come in, eat rolls, drink coffee, and roll dice. Nick actually started out selling his breads out of several area Farmer's Markets, and now offers his products at the Lakefield Store and in other area locations. I was raised on Wonder Bread and it did help build my strong body 12 ways. But these days, there is a lot of great homemade bread out there, of which living in the greater Berkeley area keeps Family expectations high. I picked up a loaf and one of their coffee cakes at the Market Community Co-op in Spirit Lake (Iowa). Both were a huge hit at the Cabin, as a few of our breakfasts and lunches were made even more enjoyable. We'll come here before the big grocery stores the next time we're in town.
