I should've known something was up when they asked for $100 security deposit, I have never in my life paid a security deposit at a hotel. The elevator and hallways were a mess and gave a sleazy Motel vibe. However, they are under construction, and I figured it would be better when I got to the room. Wrong, first of all we reserved a two bedroom suite with a king and two queens. We were given a two bedroom suite with a king and a queen. Looking around, there was debris left on the floor from the previous guests. But what took the cake was the headboard of my room. I cannot tell you how disgusted I was when I saw what I suspect was sperm smeared all over the headboard. The sheets were dirty with stains and there were more signs of bodily fluids on the shower curtain. I was beyond disgusted. On my way back down to the check-in, there was a group of girls getting off the elevator who looked around and stated that the hotel looked like it was used for sex trafficking. When I made it to the front desk, the worker was extremely apologetic and offered me either a late checkout or another room. I wanted to state neither, but I booked the room under a deal online that was nonrefundable. I told her I would take a new room. The new room was a little cleaner and appeared to be without bodily fluids. However, it still was not the room we booked with one king and two queen beds, and it still had debris all over the floor. It was a horrible night, I could not believe I booked a room at this place. My comfort level was at -50.I placed a chair under the door for extra security and slept on top of the blankets of my bed. I was asked if I wanted to speak to the manager and I stated yes and waited at the front desk, but she did not come down. I left my name and phone number requesting a call and they assured me she would call me right away. However, I did not hear from her that day. I made a call to her the next day at which times she apologized and offered me a room upgrade if I stayed at her location again. Which was laughable at best. I will never stay at one of these properties ever again in my life. I called corporate and filed a complaint and I am currently waiting for a determination. Also, just a heads up that hundred dollar security deposit can take up to three- seven days to be returned.

I felt nothing but uncomfortable during my stay. PLEASE don't stay here, ESPECIALLY if you have children. Looks like a place where sex trafficking would take place. Unfortunately, the conditions fell far short. The hallways were dirty, with worn and stained carpeting. The rooms had a strong, unpleasant odor. The tile floors were dirty, the kitchen areas had visible, crusted-on food residue, and the bathrooms were not properly cleaned. The overall condition and smell of the rooms made the stay extremely uncomfortable. In addition, during our stay, we were made aware of ongoing concerns in the area related to activity at the hotel, including frequent disturbances and police presence. This raised serious concerns about safety and the type of environment being maintained at the property. Overall, this experience was disappointing and surprising given the Marriott name. Significant improvements in cleanliness, maintenance, and oversight are needed before I would consider staying here again.

Before I checked in and upon arrival, the front desk asked if we were there for the pool. When I said yes, I was told the pool was closed until further notice and was advised to check nearby hotels instead. I was never notified in advance, despite the closure clearly being known. Because the pool was the primary reason for the stay, I asked whether any accommodation could be made, such as points or a reduction of the pet fee. This request was denied, and the interaction with staff was rude and dismissive, with no effort made to offer customer service or a resolution. In addition, I booked a suite, and while the room itself was nice and spacious, the cleanliness was disappointing. The blinds were extremely dirty with visible stains, and the walls had crust and what appeared to be dried boogers. This is unacceptable for a newer hotel. It is also concerning that the pool was already out of service so early into the hotel's life. Overall, this stay fell far short of expectations.

The accommodations are actually studio-style rooms equipped with a full kitchenette, including cookware, microwave, toaster, dishwasher and more. They also offer complimentary washers and dryers though detergent is not provided although they have that for purchase. There were a few hiccups during my stay. On the first morning I requested a light bulb for a lamp that didn't have one. After waiting an hour with no delivery I left for the day. When I returned that evening I found a bulb in my room but it was the wrong type, it had metal prongs instead of the required twist base. I had to call again before receiving the correct one. On the third night of my four night stay my door suddenly became difficult to lock. It took several attempts and breaks to finally get it secured which was concerning because I hadn't experienced any issues with it the first two nights. The hotel has a lot to offer but some attention to detail and maintenance would go a long way in improving the guest experience.
