Who would have thought a staycation would be so relaxing but I'm glad I was swindled into watching my granddaughter here while my daughter joined a 3 day conference. The Baytown waters aren't glorious but if you sit long enough and look past the ugly it's actually pretty serene and relaxing. You get great views from the hotel in various angles. Our room had 2 huge comfy queen beds but one of the comforters was still dirty. We didn't complain though since we didn't find it until later in the evening and we were too tired. Room was spacious and we loved the dual shower heads. It's always a bonus when the water stays hot and water pressure is strong. Great gym with lots of cardio equipment even peloton bikes, free weights, kettle weights, bands, clean towels, free earphones and ice water. Oh abs they have sanitizer wipes. The pool is gigantic with a jacuzzi. Towels on deck. Plenty of seats. Cozy little outdoor section with rocking chairs, seats and games. We loved the big balancing Tetris and corn hole. Unfortunately the connect four wood has swollen so it was hard to play. I think it may be the humidity since it's made of wood. There's a little 24 market that helped me with my morning coffee. The room has a mini keurig style coffee pot but I have a hard time trusting hotel coffee pots, unfortunately. The gentleman at the register was very polite granted it was early. Overall, I had a wonderful time. Got to relax and get familiar with the ship water channels. We even stumbled across Sylvan Beach which was an awesome surprise. Definitely recommend this spot.

We stayed one night at this Hyatt on the bay. Check in was a breeze. The guy was knowledgeable and friendly. Or room was spotless and comfortable. We had a water view which was nice. I think we got it for less than $200 because I requested the water view at check in. The bed was very cozy and they even had two kinds of pillows on the bed so you could choose your comfort level. I love the very soft squishy ones but they also had a firmer one. We were on the 7Th floor and it was very quiet. We really didn't hear street, outdoor, hallway or even next room noise! We ate breakfast in the restaurant... other reviewers talked about how expensive it is but it's typical nice hotel prices. In upscale hotels you must surely expect you're not getting a crappy, pre-made, complementary breakfast. It was great coffee and made to order food with fresh ingredients. Our server was super sweet! There is a huge free parking lot, great service, clean, well maintained rooms. The bathroom has a makeup mirror. If the lighting is too dark in the bathroom take the makeup mirror over to the desk by the window; it worked great! I would 100% recommend this place over any other in Baytown... and we've stayed at most of the others...

Hidden gem (which the hidden part won't last long).... Incredible staycation at the new HR did not disappoint... Room rates affordable (for now)...peaceful location, delicious food day and night, accessible staff from the moment you arrive until you leave... I wish I'd thought to take more pics but we were so caught up in being present I hardly had my phone out! We enjoyed James, our bartender and his recommendations for a great meal at the bar were really helpful... The smothered salad was so dang good and I really like the flavor on the brisket tacos! For breakfast, Irene was the best server, managed her time with us to a tee , never missing a beat...and Tia the hostess sat us immediately with a sweet smile and disposition! Stop in for a drink, a bite or stay the night... totally worth it!!

Beautiful resort and very attentive and great staff, location is nice and tranquil, for sure this is one hotel worth visit in the Baytown area. *"They are still working on the upper floors, but there are plenty of rooms available."

Although I had already checked in via the app, I stopped by the front desk to pick up a physical key, which I usually do as a backup. As someone relatively new to Hilton Garden Inn, I asked whether any complimentary upgrades were available. The response I received, something about water in the room, was a bit confusing and didn't clearly address the question. Later, when we left the room with recyclable bottles, I asked the same front desk staff member about recycling options. Again, the response was unclear and I was directed toward a water fountain, which didn't answer the question. I shared this experience with the general manager, Veronica, who was receptive and professional. She explained that the property does not have recycling options and said she would address this with management and use the situation as a coaching opportunity to improve staff communication and customer engagement. The room itself was fine and met expectations, with no major issues. It's also worth noting that the hotel does not have suites--only standard and accessible rooms--so upgrades should not be expected, as confirmed by the general manager. Overall, a decent stay, and I appreciate management's willingness to listen and improve. Hopefully, communication will be smoother on future visits.

No really complaints there. They have a lot of parking stall so it shouldn't run out. They're walking distant to a bunch of restaurants and Bucee's is about 5 minutes away.

I even heard the guy next door's alarm go off. You can also hear freeway noise all night, if you are a light sleeper. Otherwise great hotel - water is hot and pressure is great. Everyone was super friendly. I didn't post any photos because there were a lot of other people posted theirs. My wife and I loved how the suites were decorated! It felt just like home! The room was also very clean and smelled very nice. We loved how the bed felt! It was super comfortable and the pillows and sheets were just right. The room was super quiet and you couldn't hear any road noise. The tv had a streaming option where you can sign in to your accounts and pickup where you left off. It signed you out automatically when you exited it. The breakfast in the morning down stairs was very good and tasty and the area was very clean. Thank you SpringHill Suites for an excellent hotel stay! Look forward to staying again! The ONLY negative thing I saw in the room was from the person that did the finish work around our suite with the caulk gun during construction did a very bad job and made a terrible mess of it. It was all over the sink and wall as well as the shower door and floor. I'm surprised it passed and wasn't seen by superintendent and made to fix it.... lol

The front desk staff was awful for their entire stay, which was three nights. At one point they asked for pool towels. It's been our experience that hotels don't really want you to take their room towels down to the pool and typically offer pool towels. She was told that if she stole the towels, they would be $50 each. And then she was reminded that if she stole the towels, they would be $50 apiece or $200 for the 4 she requested. At one point, she heard one of the female staff members very loudly berating one of the male staff members in the office area. They never once went to the front desk when they were greeted by friendly staff with a smile. As a matter of fact, no one was ever at the front desk to greet them, not one time, for anything they needed. The wait staff for breakfast were very nice and the food was good. Won't be back. Houston has plenty of other options.

The woman working the front desk was friendly and efficient, making sure we knew about breakfast and other amenities. My only complaint is that both restrooms downstairs in the lobby were out of service. This is disappointing when you arrive after a long roadtrip, or when you need to run to the restroom during breakfast. Other than that, it was a great stay.
